Dakine Essentials Pack Mini 7L - Bleached Moss, One Size

I buy these backpacks whenever I see a deal, so I likely have enough to last me the rest of my life. So sturdy, and all the pockets mean everything has a place. No more rummaging around a handbag for me. No neck-irritating cross body strap. No shoulder bag slipping off my shoulder. So convenient and cute. Highly recommended.

This is so cute and a great size for day-trips! Very sturdy material, zippers are good quality and there are many pockets to secret stuff away! I particularly love the pocket on the part that lays against your back. Very safe for your wallet and pickpockets can't get to it.

Great little backpack! It fit my 18oz Yeti, my fire tablet, and a few snacks while traveling! Very light. I wanted something light that would fit the essentials when traveling international and this worked great. Very impressed it had multiple zipper pockets! The main one (with mesh pocket inside which I used to put headphones in) and a second one (which I placed my wallet in). It rained unexpectedly when my flight arrived to the airport and the backpack is very water resistant. Super cute style too! My 7 year old and I alternate bags (I got 2 of them). Will buy again!

Perfect size for air travel and travel excursions. Very nice quality. Only thing missing is water bottle pocket - even a small one would be nice. Otherwise, enough storage capacity and pockets.

It's so difficult to find the perfect backpack purse and this meets all my needs. Here are the highlights: straps are wide and adjustable so as to not dig in to shoulders Not too large or too small. I can't believe the roominess of this backpack! And it has tons of pockets with two large sections. It is very lightweight. The zippers work well and do not stick. It's pretty. I can't attest to how long it will last. It doesn't appear to be extremely durable, but I'm very happy with it.

I have been buying Dakine bags for probably close to 15 years. I started looking for back-pack type bags when my first son was a baby. To me, a clutch or arm bag is just annoying to carry. I forget them (ADHD) because they are easy to set down and racing brains skip over even crucial details like purses. I have been buying the Cosmo(6L) and this size (7L) which is just a little bigger, but not so big that it’s too bulky. The fabric tough. It’s REALLY tough so it doesn’t get runs or snags in it but it still feels like a nice canvas bag. The only holes I have ever gotten in a Dakine bag are after carrying one for more than 2 years and setting it down with pointy things in the bottom. A few small holes developed through the plastic inner lining and the canvas. But they don’t pull or work themselves bigger. It takes a direct cut to the fabric to get a hole. It’s a nice pattern. Each year they have new fabric patterns. I am usually able to find patterns from the year before pretty easily as well, and they are just so much fun! This is my spring bag. I usually carry a gray floral or a gray something else bag in the winter, and go brighter and more festive in the spring and summer. I have a purple floral print (7L) as well that I also carry. The zippers NEVER break. I have had easily 7 or 8 Dakine bags over the years. I’m so hard on bags and shoes. Zippers are inherently a weak point to so many bags I have owned. I don’t ever have to worry about a broken zipper from Dakine. The straps are comfortable. It is not padded, but they are comfortable enough to carry around all day. Remember, the more stuff you put in it the heavier it gets. I have loaded it up pretty good and it gets hard to carry if you have multiple water bottles, snacks and a battery pack. if you are carrying around a 15 lb bag it all gets hard to carry after hiking around for 3 or 4 hours. But the contents now in the pic is only about 4 or 5 pounds. It’s a battery pack strong enough to start my car, a full sized wallet, a grocery bag, sunglasses, and a small pouch with cosmetics. I will continue to buy Dakine bags. They are my favorite. I like them over the single strap cross-body bags because even the smaller Dakine Cosmo has more pockets and storage access. This (7L) Dakine is a great bag. They last forever and I can even resell them used on EBay if I get tired of the color or it just gets old. They hold their value well. Worth it!

It’s the perfect lightweight small backpack with lots of pockets, great for travel. Love the design and style. Comfortable to wear, made from recycled polyester and waterproof finishing. (It’s a hint larger than the smallest backpacks). Note: I have used a different small Dakine backpack for 15 yrs and only now after stress testing it on many international trips and different climates is it beginning to show very minor signs of wear and tear, and only on the edges where it’s been sitting on stone and sand etc. Fantastic durability and quality! So I made it a point to find another one with this brand. Hopefully this one will be just as durable.

This bag is a 7L bag a regular bag is around 28L used a 38L bag when I went to university. Just for some context. Great Brand great color enough room for the essentials many pockets I love how many pockets there are.
