Awesome clock!
This clock is awesome! I purchased it specifically for the large digitis on the display and was not disappointed. Upon taking it out of the box I initially thought it was battery powered when I didn’t see a power plug on the back of the clock, but soon realized that the battery is only for keeping time when the power is out.The clock is powered via a USB cable plugged into a power outlet via a USB electrical plug.I have this clock under our TV so that my wife and I can easily see the time from across the room, as opposed to trying to see the time on our DVR box, which has very faint blue digits and is hard to see.I have not tested any alarm functions on the clock.

Over 50? You need this.
Very nice for aging eyes. The dim mode is perfect for night-time viewing in the bedroom. Note it is BYOWW (Bring Your Own Wall Wart) but most people have plenty of 5V USB supplies from old phones. Docking one star for the backup battery installation - it's VERY non-obvious. You need to pry up the metal clip on the left side and slip the included battery UNDER it, flat (+ side) up. That clip provides the + connection and the upward pointing fingers underneath make the - contact.

The "back-up battery" feature doesn't work as far as remembering the time when the power goes out; this is despite me trying the included battery inside both ways and then trying a brand new battery I bought. I am 0-2 with these cheaply-made yet expensive foreign-made alarm clocks.

A neat alarm clock that has some pluses but also takes some getting used to
I like this alarm clock, but I have to say that it took me a little while to really figure it out and get the most use of it.You get the clock, a USB cord and a battery. Now unlike other clocks the battery is NOT to run the clock day to day. It is simply a back-up for the alarm in case you lose power. This clock is essentially an electric clock that needs an power source to run: either a USB plug or a power bank. There is an additional USB port on the clock that you can also use to charge devices, but again keep in mind that the clock has to be plugged into a power source of some type at all times to run.The numbers are large and easy to read, and the clock itself is easy to set. It looks great and works well, but just keep in mind that it's something you really need to keep stationary to get the best use of it. If it loses power at any time you will lose the time. If you keep that in mind and find a cool place for it, then you'll be fine.
