Awesome, Cheap Mechanical Keyboard
I bought the white one with blue switches for about 20$, and I have no regrets. Finding a mechanical keyboard for such a cheap price is kind of insane. I did a lot of searching and none of them were as good looking or anywhere near as cheap! In fact, most were at least DOUBLE this price. The keyboard is not RGB, but again for 20$ that wasn't expected. There are 2 reasons that this keyboard is only receiving 4/5 stars from me. The first is that, though the backlights are very pretty and the effects are super cool, most of the effects aside from like 2 lack brightness. I don't understand why, because a couple of them are incredibly bright whereas others are dim. I try to adjust the brightness to the highest point (because you can indeed do that), but it's already as bright as it can go. I pretty much just want everything uber bright all the time. The other reason for the 4 stars is that my windows key is noticeably lower than all other keys. It still works perfectly fine and doesn't bother me in any way, so if it weren't for the gripe I have about the lighting, then I probably would still give this 5 stars. In fact, I'm not even sure if that key is SUPPOSED to be as high ;as all the other keys as I read in some other reviews that there is a lock function.Something else I would like to mention is the shortcuts for changing the effects. Other people seem to have a complicated set of shortcuts. For the keyboard I received, all I have to do is press Fn + Ins and it will just switch to the next lighting effect every time I hit that. To increase the brightness is Fn + the up arrow, to decrease Fn + down arrow; I have noticed that the snake effect as well as the left to right wave effect cannot have their brightness adjusted, thought everything else can. To increase the speed of the effect, Fn + right arrow; to decrease Fn + left arrow, all of them seem to work properly.F9 (mute) F10 (volume down) F11 (volume up) are the volume controls.Despite some of the effects not being as bright as I would like, I would probably still purchase this keyboard again. I don't actually use most of the effects because I find all but like 2 of them either too distracting or not my thing, so the issue with the brightness doesn't bother me enough that I wouldn't buy it again. Who knows, it might look better if I got black instead of white. I'd also like to try one with black switches as some people I game with are annoyed by the blue ones. I suppose they are obnoxious, but I kind of love it. I'd just like to be able to switch to a quieter keyboard when I am in the mood. So, I'll likely wait for the black switches to be in stock again and buy one up.
