Luckily the kit includes two hex tools so I was a lot more careful with the second one. Overall I don't think it's the most study case on the market mainly because of the choice to use the hex screws but it more than gets the job done. I honestly would stack these though unless you wanted to reinforce it somehow. Ease of Build: B I'm used to building IKEA furniture and this is very similar to building an Ikea dresser. I was going to just return it and order a different case but I decided to contact CryptoCase and wait a day before submitting the return. CryptoCase contacted me within a couple hours, sent me a new motherboard plate and a 10% discount. The new board arrived in a couple days and they were just really nice to work with. Review: Not a well executed kit (with an update: terrific response from the company) - The instructions for this mining case are poorly done. None of the bars, which come in varying lengths, are labeled and the lengths are not indicated in the assembly instructions. You are left guessing which bars to use as several are similar in size and if you even have the correct number of bars. From the picture provided on the desertcart site, I would guess that I did not receive sufficient long bars to build this rig. The kit comes with little bags of screws with stickers on them to indicate which screw to use in an assembly process, the problem is that several bags had lost their stickers and several bags had two different numbered stickers on them. Several of the phillips style screws were defective with metal filling in the top of the screw. I was hoping for a video assembling this and cannot find one online. Not really a confidence inspiring piece of kit when you are thinking about putting thousands of dollars in graphics cards on it. From the picture it looks like there should be at least 4 of the longest aluminum bars for all four corners , my kit came with three! I will be asking desertcart for a refund. Update: The manufacturer wrote and provided excellent support and a credit for their missing pieces and instruction manual being so in need of revision. Once you get this assembled, it is a pretty solid mining rig. I am blown away by the quick customer service offered by the company. They are taking my suggestions, to revise the manual and to shoot an assembly video. With those things going for the product, it should become a very nice product for end users.

Bad Instructions. Bad Parts. Bad Build.
Building this case was a nightmare, but it at least is holding together so far. The instructions tell you not to tighten everything until the end, but if you don't, the damn thing will fall apart on you. This might lead one to believe they can put it together and loosen when you inevitably find out that you need to adjust some parts. The problem is, the black hex screws will most certainly strip on you because they are garbage. Not only are they very difficult to tighten properly, but they strip easy. Also, the instructions tell you to remove the adhesive paper from the acrylic plate and that the un-printed side goes up. However, in my case, the adhesive paper only comes off one side of the acrylic, which leaves a printed side to face up instead. If you don't face that side up, the standoff screw holes will not match your motherboard or power supply. I found this out the hard way by putting the clear un-printed side up and stripped more hex screws in the process. Another problem with the build is the way it makes you mount the power supply. First, the power connectors for the various parts are forced to face directly to the motherboard instead of behind, which makes it very difficult to find space. Next, they make you face the power supply fan upwards. Since the instructions tell you to install the power supply before the GPUs, this means if you aren't careful you can drop screws into your power supply. Next build, I think I'm better off using milk crates. Not kidding at all.

Cannot support much weight, extremely time consuming design, does not feel sturdy what-so-ever.
NOTE: THIS REQUIRES A LEVEL TO BUILD CORRECTLY. I do not recall seeing mention of this anywhere. However, there is no way you can just eyeball this thing and have everything line up correctly. I had to use a level on almost every connecting bracket, and my first few completions were still left with PCI-E ports not seating fully, angles being off, etc. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A LEVEL BEFORE PURCHASING. Case is OK. I've built thousands of PCs and worked in IT for close to ten years, and this thing took HOURS to put together. Prepare to spend at least 3-4 hours piecing it together. Screw packages were extremely mislabeled. I work on cars, furnaces, and all kinds of machinery as a side hobby, so I was able to figure it out fairly easily, but someone with less experience might be extremely flustered in this situation. On top of this, the directions are absolutely terrible. It's like the old "VCR Manual" joke, but if the VCR manual also came with missing pages and hard to decipher labeling of components. Once assembled, it's OK. The bottom plate flexes under the weight of the components due to lack of proper support in the front and I have had to prop it up with a CD-ROM drive. What would otherwise be a beautiful case has been made extremely ugly due to this. Same goes for the video card rack. Due to the beams not connecting all the way across, they slowly shift, bend and loosen over time under the weight of 6 video cards. The light beam that runs between the two short ones will twist and shift over time, requiring you to shut things down and readjust. And FORGET about moving this thing. If I had to do more than shift it I would take it apart first. Even shifting it on a smooth desk with the plastic feet on, you can feel the brackets shifting under it's own weight. Overall, would not purchase again. There are simpler designs for similar money out there that don't feel so rickety and unstable. I have had to shut down this miner multiple times to readjust and re tighten screws and beams that lost their orientation under the weight they're supporting. As all miner's know, time is money, and the amount of time required for this case makes it not worth it. I'm glad I only have one. I couldn't imagine the micromanagement required to keep several of these in order. What this needs to make it a solid case: Simpler build design (requiring literally dozens of screws, nuts, brackets, etc is way over engineered and ineffective). Also I shouldn't need a level to put this thing together. Little indentations of "recommended" areas, notches, something of the sort to allow users to eyeball the beams instead of requiring a level would be so much more user friendly. Or if the build design doesn't change, at least make the connecting screws and nuts of higher quality. More supports: the video card beams should run all the way across and connect to the fan beams, and there should be an additional support beam for the bottom plate to prevent warping/flexing/bending. Note: I've seen comments mention the case being made for 140mm fans when it actually takes 120mm fans. On mobile, I couldn't get the full product description and ordered 4 140mm fans based on the comments. This was my fault and not the fault of the company, but I will say THEY DO FIT. You have to get creative with your bracketing (I'll try to add a picture),but they absolutely fit without need for zip ties or any external supports. Having 4 140mms cuts down on the noise and provides more CFMs, so I'm glad in the end that I couldn't view the whole description :D

Great case
A bit on the expensive side but overall quality is worth it. The way I looked at it was could pay 70-100 for garbage, or get a nicely done case, such as this one. Overall happy with the purchase, overall looks great in my bedroom ~reduced to 3 stars due to the sagging of the shelf for the GPUs, the support should have really gone from side-to-side, rather than a half piece

Best Case on the Market
I’m really happy with this case! I didn’t want to make some cheap frame from wood but I didn’t want to spend an arm and a leg on a premium case either. This was the perfected compromise. It’s very stylish, which matters to me because even though my rig is in my basement I love to show it off to friends and family. Beyond that it’s very space efficient and cool (smaller than I thought). Every component is secured to the frame and my gpus never go over 70 Celsius. I will say assembly isn’t quick, but for anyone putting a rig together (flashing gpu bios, undervolting, etc) this isn’t anything difficult either. 5 stars for sure, will be purchasing a second to stack them.

Amazing case. Setup can be time consuming.
This case was wonderfully designed. There's lots of parts and the install can be a little overwhelming initially. Overall, it took me 4 hours to set up. I'm very happy with the end result.

Great case, but assembly could be improved.
This is a great case for a mining rig. Its a sturdy, well built case. I would have given it 5 stars, but the assembly could be improved. First of all, I hate the little hex screws they want you to use with the little hex wrench they give you. There are a couple of steps when you can use a normal phillips screw that fits the same square nut, but for some reason they want you to use the hex screws most of the time. The hex wrench they give you is really cheap and will strip out if you're not careful. If they would just give you enough regular screws, it would be perfect. Once it's assembled, it looks and works great.
