I have an SDI-DVR. When connecting the new camera to my DVR I get no video. Default setting on camera is EX-SDI so my unit could not show video. I connected my monitor to the analog video out cable on the camera and still no video. Turns out the default setting on camera is Analog video OFF. In my defense, If I cant see the output from the camera, I could also NOT see the on-screen menu. In defense of the AED people, the directions do tell you to use the joystick "blind" and change the settings. My guess is that I got that part all wrong and never got it right, until they told me how to approach it anew. After a few E-mails I was able to see the menu and set up the camera the way I needed to. It works fine now. Turns out that the video quality is great and the night clarity is awesome.
