It goes beyond that. I originally bought it for my children as part of their IGCSE studies, but I ended up reading large sections myself. What impressed me was how clearly it explains complex events and connects them together, rather than simply presenting a list of dates and names to learn. Before this, revision often felt like memorising disconnected facts. This book presents the topics in a logical way that makes it much easier to understand why events happened and how they influenced one another. That makes studying more engaging and, in my opinion, improves long-term retention. The price is reasonable for a course textbook, especially given how often it gets used throughout the academic year. As both a parent and a reader, I found the content informative, well-structured, and surprisingly enjoyable. Review: Perfect for iGCSE History - My daughter used this to help prepare for GCSE History. In depth textbook, well set out and very user friendly. Covers all the content you need to learn. She used alongside the revision guide and question booklets also in the series. Contains some exemplar answers. A few more would make it better. Essay questions are difficult to self mark.
