This is a great pump at a low price.We have a waterfront home in North Carolina, and we keep one of these on hand "just in case". In the October 2015 floods (15" of rain in under a week!), it ran 24x7 for a few days to keep my ground floor from being submerged.The pump itself is lightweight and relatively quiet. In an emergency, it doesn't require much electricity, so it can be powered a lot of ways, from a small portable generator to a car battery with an inverter. Only complaint is that the input hose should have some sort of screen or filter on it to prevent large particles from clogging the hose or pump, but this is easily remedied.Definitely worthwhile compared to other pumps I've owned.

Great pump. I used it to descale my Rheem Tankless water heater and everything worked perfectly. The pump ran smooth and quietly. You'll need a female-female adapter to connect the male end of the water hose to your water heater valve.

Pump works good. Extremely low end discharge hose easily kinks and will no longer operate as designed. Works well with the garden hose attachment but you have to make sure the hose is straight out and no big turns or the flow will stop.

It works as described.

I bought this to drain a pond in my back yard in the spring. At first I used it with the garden hose connector and it was useless given the volume of water. The 3/4" hose makes it difficult to prime the pump and the 3/4 inch size is just too small. I then bought the large hose kit and this thing is flying. It is quiet and hasn't clogged with the pond scum. The volume of water being pumped is great with the larger hose attachment.
