The amount of light is amazing and it looks great in the wall where I installed it. However, I had problems with the motion sensor being too sensitive, so I use it on constant light mode and it works fine. The amount of time the light stays on is determined by the amount of direct sunlight it recieves during the day. This light replaced a solar light I had for about 1 year and it has not held up. This light is sturdy and well made and should last a long time.

Good strong light, like a 40 watt incandescent bulb. A little blue for my taste, but that's how they can get more brightness with these low power set-ups. The 4 functions seem to work well and add versatility. I'm using this as an address light, to be seen from afar so the motion sensor is of no use.Thankfully there is an "always on from dusk to dawn" mode. It is a little less bright than the standard motion triggered mode, but still plenty bright. They do this to save energy so it can run all night before depleting the batteries.The build quality is good and simple. The main body is a single extruded piece of aluminum. The ends are capped with aluminum plates with silicone seals that seal all the edges. The screws and hanging plates appear to be stainless steel. That and the aluminum body tell me you will not have to worry about rust or corrosion.

No one (not even the dogs) can surprise me while walking at night.

The time it stays on after motion ended is too short. Otherwise it works great. A year after purchase.

Stopped working after about a year.
