Works great for half the price! For all the reviews saying the o-rings are too large here is my tip. Rub just a little WD-40 or maybe a little engine oil on the rings and set it in. It will take a lot of force to try and seat it all the way on one go so, once you get it in and there is about half an inch of space left and it seems like it won’t go any more, start to put the bolts in and tighten each side a little at a time alternating sides. Fits right in!

I installed this in my Ford 2004 6.0L DieselAs stated by another reviewer, the O-rings were simply too large to fit. There was no way to get the valve seated, no matter how hard I tried. I remedied the situation by re-using the O-rings from the old EGR valve. I then simply coated the O-rings with some engine oil and it slid right into place. This is why I knocked off a star. Had it fit correctly initially, I would have given the valve a 5-star review!I used my scan tool to reset my check engine light, and I haven't seen it come back yet. The new valve appears to be working! Fingers crossed.I'll be sure to update my review if the valve fails on me.

This EGR valve is terrible, if you’re wanting a cheap EGR valve, buy a Dorman instead. The valve mechanism was sticky out of the box and would only open about 20%. Took product to the UPS store to warranty return it. I kept the return receipt for a couple of weeks and tossed it. Then I was charged back for the valve because somewhere between UPS and Amazon it was lost. By this time it was 3 weeks later and my receipt from UPS was gone so I had no proof. The UPS store I returned it too is 7.4 miles from the Amazon fulfillment center and somehow it didn’t make from point a to point b.

Value priced EGR valve appears to be exactly identical to stock. Perfect fit for my 2006 6.0 F250. I've had no issue with it sticking or throwing codes, as mentioned in other reviews. It's an easy 5 minute install, with a crows foot, considering I've removed and cleaned my stock EGR several times before trying this. It did resolve my sticky EGR problem (black smoke and stuttering at certain times), and now that I have a backup EGR I can swap out to clean when the 6.0 one gums up this one.

Seems ok, but reviews from other buyers indicated that the O-rings were too large are correct. No big deal, I already had an OEM gasket kit on stand by. The real problem was that the new EGR was throwing a P0406 code (excess EGR voltage). I verified this with several high-end scan tools. Maybe this was a one-off, but I had to return. The price was very reasonable. OEM gasket kit is about $10 on Amazon or Autozone.

It also up power and mileage. GERAT PRODUCT.

I used it on my 2004 Ford f350. I don’t know how long it will last but for $40 it did the job. No more check engine and in my dumb state of California, it was enough to pass smog.
