Our White Heart Sky Lanterns are Eco-Friendly and made from the finest quality rice paper and bamboo string. They come fully assembled with the fuel cell already attached. Gently unfold the lantern and light it with preferably a long nose lighter. We insist that two people light and release the sky lantern, and that you not light the sky lantern alone. Doing so can be dangerous. Light time is about 90 seconds, so be patient and do not release the lanterns before they are fully inflated. If you follow the instructions on the packaging, your lanterns will float. Our sky lanterns have an extremely high success rate, and they come with well written and easy to follow instructions for this reason. Good product with the right environment
This started out as a great idea. My family spent Thanksgiving at the beach and our plan was to send these off on the beach in memory of family members who have passed on. I did a test run the night before because I read reviews of other sky lanterns and some of the problems that came with. So the test run was absolutely beautiful. I only did one because I didn’t want it to land in other peoples yards or house. I got excited because it worked exactly how I expected. So we go to the beach hoping to have the same result with 20-30 of them in the sky. Weeeeeelllll. It was very windy on the beach, which we weren’t expecting, so #1; it was very hard to light. So I would suggest getting a good Bic or Zippo lighter. So when we did get some of them lit because it was so windy, and the wind was blowing in the wrong direction, when we let them go, they just blew into the sand and then the paper would catch on fire. So I am actually going to give this 4 stars. Even though it didn’t work out as planned, I think the issue was with Mother Nature and not the product.

Complete Failure
I purchased these for a pre-wedding photography shoot. I shouldn't have wasted my money. Out of 10 6 were bad and the other four are still in the package awaiting disposal. 3 of them came out glued together on the inside, 2 came out of the package with holes in the sides, and the last one the top edge wasn't even sealed. Absolutely not worth it.

I'm giving these a four because I've never used them before, nothing to compare them too.We had a little difficulty getting it to raise and float. When it did it ended up in a tree.I think it's all operation error.

The glue on top of the heart did not seal so they would not fly and it was for my mothers funeral. How sad it was to not do this for her.
