Great mat!!At first I was a bit skeptical with the claims and it's a bit pricey for a mat, but I can honestly say that it has really reduced the amount of dirt being tracked in since I put it down. And with two Great Danes, that's not easy. :-) I can't say that it 'soaks' up moisture, as mentioned, a whole lot -- so I did train them to 'wipe their feet' - which helps (just have them walk over it two or three times when they come in from the rain -- this helps grab the moisture better). But where this mat 'shines' is the trapping of the dirt and debris better than any other mat that I had down before. In my backyard is a tree that drops lots of small leaves in the fall -- prior, there were leaves all over the house and I was in continuous cleaning mode to keep them under control. Since I put down this mat, I'd say there is an 80% reduction in leaf litter in my house -- they stick to the mat instead, and just a few shakes and it's clean. It's difficult to see in this picture, taken early in the season, but once the season was in full swing I saw a huge difference.Then there was the usual dirt that was always being tracked in -- it seemed like I was always scrubbing the grout in between the slate tiles. Since I put down this mat, however, even the amount of cleaning of the grout has been reduced, since most of the dirt clings to the mat instead of being tracked onto the kitchen floor.Do follow the instructions that comes with the mat: it states to wash the mat once or twice - without detergent - before the first use, which I did. It took a very long time to dry (days) -- so be mindful of this when you first get it.I was also concerned it may have too much loft - and my door has one of those sweeper things to keep the drafts out. It was thick when I first got it, but still did not cause any problems with the door. Now that I've had it awhile, it is quite flat -- but it still works really well. Just know that when you decide to wash it, it's probably best to do it when you'll be away for a few days to give it time to dry. :-) But, again, keeping it relatively clean just takes a few shakes.

I bought this rug for my front entrance hallway and it does what it was advertised to do. I have had it now for several months and recently washed it. It washed well but did take some time to dry. I am not unhappy with the rug as it stays put but I cannot vacuum or it will pull up so must shake it out and wash when it gets very dirty. I wish it was more attractive but color choices and style was limited.

I’ve had this mat for months now and it has stood up to two large dogs and two children coming in and out of the house. It is super absorbent and easy to clean. I’m ordering a second one now that we are into the winter months.

This rug is just as advertised a mud trap! I love it. It catches most of the dirt and junk that comes in through my front door. I high recommend it.

Not high quality at all. Not absorbent at all. This mat does not stay in place either- slides all over my vinyl laundry room floor.

I got it to get muddy paw prints to a minimum and it does a reasonable job of it. It works better than your average rug. It's thin enough that you can open the door without catching the run, however, uou cant run a vacuum over it, it just gets sucked in. I have to stop what I'm doing pick up the rug take it outside and shake it out, vacuum the rest of the area than put it back down.

Great for cleaning the snow or mud off my boots so I’m not tracking it inside!

The size is perfect for the area. That's the best thing about it. The rug does not keep floors clean, does not stay put and is a huge disappointment. That rug i bought from an actual store is the real deal, I'm sorry i wasted the money on this I've one.
