It completely eliminates odor when used as directed. You have to pre clean the areas first to get up as much as you can. After that, saturate the area with this stuff and the odor is completely gone and does not return. I use this when my dogs have the occasional accident, and also in routine deeper cleaning. I use it as my final step when I shampoo my carpet, and I also keep a spray bottle with it to freshen up things in between. The scent is light and pleasant as well. The size of the bottle may seem a bit small, but it’s a concentrate so a little goes a long way. It is easy to use and leaves my upholstery and carpet clean and soft.
