Black Steel Bracelet Band for Evo Seal 23mm Luminox Watches

I'm not a fan of any watch band made of rubber, I can never seem to get the length just right and my watch always turnes to the other side of my wrist. (I prefer a looser fit around my wrist.) When I saw this on Amazon, I had to get it. I spent $200 on a metal band for my Swiss Army Diver Automatic, which seems like a lot of money for what you get; however, it is very solid and heavy. Heavy enough to keep that watch from spinning. I had a metal band come with a Luminox 3150 series (metal case watch) and the band is good, but not even close to the Swiss band in quality. I know I'm comparing "apples to oranges", but just trying to put a little context around it. That said, the band was a great fit with the 3150 watch and I wanted one for a carbon case Luminox I had purchased previously that came with a rubber band. The band delivered was not as nice as the one on the 3150 Colormark (not as heavy, cheaper feel). That said, the price isn't bad and the band fit perfectly to my carbon watch. I had to take some links out to get the wrist fit and no problem with that. (I have the special tool to work on bands) It looks good with the watch (IMO a Lot better than w/ the rubber band) and while no heavy weight, it does keep the watch in place.

Overall it's a good band. Purchased it to install on my Basis Peak watch since the basis bands were irritating to my skin. Works fine with the Peak. I've been wearing it 24hrs/day for about 2 months now. It's holding up okay, some of the finish has been worn away in some small areas already but isn't too noticeable. When I first received it the latch was incredibly hard to undo and close again. I ended up slightly bending part of the latch mechanism to allow it to latch easier. After some time the latch loosened a bit and it works perfectly now to easily unlatch. Just to note, I don't worry about the latch accidently opening, it hasn't overly loosened. The dark color looks nice. Would recommend to others.

Looks nice not cheap. Also fits the recon navigation specialist watch. Had to cut tiny ears off the band with wire cutters first. Fits nice. The looks of the watch improved 100 percent. This is how the luminox should look. Throw away those rubber straps. Used at work and the finish holds fast. Even the feel of it has improved. Highly recommend this band if you own a luminox watch. EDIT; after one year rough use. It still holds the watch fine. If I bump the watch hard the pin pops out, but that is a given with any watch band. The color, yeah, it has faded a bit with heavy use and including jackets and coats and just rough use, still, for the price and the quality of the material use to make it, I say it is a good deal. I would suggest you try to get a couple of extra pins just in case you lose one in the field. Whatever field you might be working in.

Did not ship with pins. When I contacted seller regarding issue, they just said it was too late to return item. Watch band is as pictured, seems decently constructed. If you want a seemingly reasonable band to not be able to attach when you get it due to lack of pins then this is your stop!!----------------*UPDATE*Still had to order my own pins BUT this item is a daily wear and has held up flawlessly and through deployment for the past 4 months. Finish has been jarred up here and there but not unexpected as I abuse the hell out of it. Would recommend afterall.

I'd give it a 4.5 on build quality, but due to the custom-made OEM-esque fit, I bumped it up to a 5. Very nice, and nice looking without any gap where it connects to the watch head. It really classes up my green EVO. The finish on mine seems well-done and I feel like it will hold up over time. I admittedly only wear this watch 5-10% of the time versus a couple of the other staples of my watch collection, but it's been looking good and feeling nice. There is one small spot on the claps hinge that digs into my wrist sometimes, but it's not too bad and only sometimes noticeable. I'm most likely going to take one of my mini files to that part, then finish off the silver color I expect to show through with a black permanent marker. Should be totally fine and still look great.

Bought this to replace a leather band from a Harley-Davidson/Bulova watch. Jeweler told me to send the watch back to Bulova - that Harley branded watches were unique sizes, etc. I measured the lugs and looked for 23 mm width metal bracelet in black. Found this bracelet in less that 10 minutes of searching. Luminox is a good brand name and this bracelet fits perfect and looks excellent. Slight shade difference in the black finish from the Harley watch but nobody but me will notice. Excellent quality. The bracelet was in new packaging and shipped fast - delivered before promised. What could be better than that?

I don't like that Luminox does not fasten the keeper to the band on their standard issue rubber watch bands. The keeper slips and allows the end of the band to move around. I purchased this band to replace the standard issue and it has performed very well. You have to be able to adjust band length. Not a difficult job. If you don't know how just google and find several instruction videos. The pins on this band push out. Arrows on the band indicate the direction. If you don't have the tools consider buying a watch repair tool for pushing the pins. Be careful the tool is very narrow and will bend easily.

I put this on my Citizen Nighthawk AT. It fits well and looks great. Only issue I have with it is the stiffness of the clasp and the secondary clasp doesn't line up perfectly to close. I have to tweak it a bit to snap shut.
