We've always been inspired by the modern clean look of Scandinavian office supplies which employ simple shapes and celebrate the beauty of natural wood. They work
They're magnetic "thumbtacks". Definitely magnetic, they hold things to my whiteboard just fine. The tops are a little uneven, but can't complain too much.
