Excellent Serbian Chef Knife - From a Knife Guy!
Absolutely outstanding knife - and I'm a "knife guy". I can't stop buying these and giving them away as gifts. I have one in my office, in my travel kitchen, and my house. I do only wash them by hand, but they are all extremely well made, solid, heavy, sharp, hold their edge, and cut through anything. 100% DO NOT spend more than $20 for a Serbian Chef Knife. That ad that keeps coming up on social media trying to get you to spend $300 for 5 different versions of these is a total joke: you ONLY need this knife and you only need one Serbian Chef Knife per kitchen. Thank you Enoking for exposing how easy it is to make a great and affordable Serbian Chef Knife.

WOW! Unbelievable at this price point!
Im blown away by this purchase. This is exactly what I wanted. It is pretty hefty, but well balanced, very sharp and the fit and finish is surprisingly good. It came with a coating of shipping grease to keep it from rusting, so I cleaned it with soapy water, dried it well and reapplied some cooking oil to it. Reading other reviews leads me to believe this is far more a carbon steel than a stainless as it states in the original listing. Carbon steel is great, but I feel you will want to treat it like you would a cast iron pan and keep it dry and oiled. I included a front shot so you can see how it tapers gradually from quite thick at the spine, down to the blades edge. I also included a pic of it with my other kitchen knives so you could get a better sense of perspective. Its a nice size, but not as HUGE as it appears in many picture I see. Absolute STEAL for $20!

Great quality and value so far
I have no complaints right now the blade is great quality and has a nice weight, it comes sharpened and Iโm sure as long as you maintain it, it will be a great addition to any collection

Hell of a deal for TEN BUCKS
I was truly amazed at the packaging of this knife...It only cost $10 bucks with free shipping. The knife itself seems to be sturdy and well made although, the Amazon Reviews tell of low quality steel that rusts quickly and loses its edge. I have not used the knife yet, but I think with after use washing and OILING, it will perform adequately

How is this possible.. for $10
First off, this knife is amazing, it cuts like a giant razor, itโs not too big or too small, for someone with large hands its quite comfy, and the fact that its hand forged, is a huge plus, dont have to worry about chopping into bones or anything like that, with the weight and sharpness, its going through, so be careful.. it feels durable and is, the rust suppression coat seems like it may be impervious to rusting, the cutting edge may be subject to some surface rust, but a light coat of oil and storing it in the sheath it came with should take care of all of that. The best part for me is how easy it is to use, especially when cutting veggies, all you have to do is push the blade down and potatoes, carrots, whatever gets cleanly cut, homemade chips would be a breeze with this blade. Iโll be processing some meat soon, super excited to try it out.. In closing, buy this knife, you wont be disappointed, I guarantee it. *Disclosure* I do not represent the company and any guarantees made are not contractually binding.. but youโre gonna love it..

Very nice cleaver
Feels well made. Itโs heavy, big, and sharp. I canโt yet speak to how well it might maintain its sharpness, but I have no reason to imagine itโd disappoint in that respect. The box was very nice and could make for a good gift.

Great Knife for bone
I read a lot of reviews and none of them really gave me the answers to decide if this was for me or not. I'll do my best to give you basically all the info you'll need. First, what kind of knife is this? Primarily it's for chopping pieces of meat that has a thick bone. Weight? To me, it's nearly perfect. The Cleaver has good amount of weight behind it, enough to break through the bone with ease, yet not super heavy where you're like I can't hold it Handle? Great balance and is very comfortable to hold Edge? It would take a lot from what I can tell to cause folds in the blade. It's also super sharp so you could totally breakup a pineapple or a hard vegetable like a squash. Uses? As I said this is really something you'll use to say chop or separate ribs, chicken wings from the drum and winglets. You can dice vegetables with this but I wouldn't say it would be an easy task because it's much heavier than a chef knife, but you can do it. You'll easily be able to to take a rib eye and make beef cubes If desired. When breaking the bones, you do need to use a chopping motion because pressing down on the blade unless tons of pressure to me won't get the job done. The good news it the chopping motion is very little hardly any effort. What can't it do? I would not try and break massive bones I don't think it's heavy enough unless you really smash hard. Cleaning: After use, use soap and water and then dry it really well. I'm talking bone dry; no put intended. Then take a paper towel or rag and put a little olive oil on each side and rub it on then put back in case. I can't say if will still rust as others have said since only had a day but if take care of it should be no issues. Overall if you're primary reason for getting this is to dice vegetable, chop meat and break through bone stay clear. If you're primarily purpose is to break through the bone and on occasion use for other tasks then it's for you. Oh, the reverse side I think, although I have not done so would be great for smashing open something like a coconut.

You can feel the quality.
This is exactly what I needed. I eat a lot of chicken wings and this cuts the wing tips off no problem. It is sharp and has weight to it! I feel like I got a really good product for an excellent price! The handle is as solid as the cleaver part and looks very handsome in my kitchen!

Don't waste your money
Finish is of an exceptionally low-quality finish on handle. Would prove painful over prolonged use

Disappointed
I was expecting something extra ordinary because the way it has been presented but unfortunately ended up with a big disappointment. The cleave blade connot hold third strike when I was trying to cut a lamb. You can use it for cutting vegetables nothing more than. Not recommended for camping purpose.

Sharp like razor
This knife is a chef best friend. It has nice way of dicing the way you can rock it off the tip of the knife. Put a carrots or cucumber in the middle of the knife rock it back and forth moving your veggies. Manifique
