Out of the 16 I ordered only one of them didn't work properly, but it was just the activity light, the tray still allowed the HDD to function perfectly. They come with the correct screws, and the trays themselves are a VERY close match to the Dell branded ones.If you need the HDD trays like most other server owners, don't hesitate to buy these!PS - Dell if you weren't such scrooges and refused to sell the trays separately, you might get more money from some of us. Making us pay $200 for a 1TB drive is madness, and not selling parts for equipment that we OWN is mind numbingly stupid. I paid a premium for your servers, but already had the storage. Why would I buy new drives?If you are like me and already had a storage solution, but Dell refused to sell trays to you, don't pass these up. It's a great buy at a great price, and work perfectly.

This was so positive buying experience that we took some pictures as well. Product descriptions were very clear and easy to understand. Before that we purchased a similar dell tray adapter from other seller, but it was not fitting in our server. All parts were nicely packed and it was big surprise that there was installation manual as well. We started to install tray adapter to SSD drives and very fast it was coming up that we were doing wrong! So the manual really saved our time and helped us. Eg. there are many screw holes, only one side of the adapter there are 9 !

Perfect drive converter for 2.5" drive into 3.5" hot swap DELL caddy.
This is a SUPER piece for placing a 2.5" SAS drive into a 3.5" drive caddy! Very easy to screw the drive in with the instructions provided. A MUST have if you need to place any 2.5" drive into an 3.5" hot swap Dell Server caddy. Mine went into my Dell r410 very quickly.

Fits perfectly in Dell T630
Fit perfectly in a Dell T630. Used the 2.5” adapter to fit SFF drives into 3.5” bay. Quality packaging and parts. Would definitely recommend to other IT pros.
