Balanced Tech Women's Wicking Performance Seamless Thong Panties 3-Pack Underwear

I've worn this brand & style of thongs for 2 years and they remain my favorites for active wear ( like other ones for pretty wear  Nanette Nanette Lepore Women's 3 Pack Microfiber Lace Thong Panties with Ruched Detail Onyx, Pink Shadow, Black Large ).I've compared three brands in a similar style and these are my go-to pair. Here's the line-up comparing apples to apples:1.) Balance Tech (These panties!)Waist measures 12.75" across; 9.25" waist to crotch but shrinks to 8.25" after multiple washings; just under 2" hip thickness*KEY DIFFERENCES when compared to other styles:- No shrinking seams like the Kalons so it lays flat without cutting into the skin.- No long crotch like the Umbros - shrinks to a perfect length for me.- Comes in neutral colors so you can wear them with anything.2.) Umbro thongs  Umbro Women's Seamless Thong Panties 3-Pack - Pink Glo/Green Gecko Assorted - Large Note that I sized up to a large in this style to get similar waist measurement!Waist measures 12.75" across; 9..75" waist to crotch and doesn't shrink much if at all with washing; just under 2" hip thickness*KEY DIFFERENCES when compared to other styles:- Baggy in the front fabric area which gets more prominent with time.- Significantly longer in the waist to crotch measurement and doesn't ever shrink up.- Stripe around the entire waistline may show through clothing.3.) Kalon nylon thongs  Kalon 6 Pack Women's Nylon Spandex Thong Underwear (Medium, Sporty Tri-Blend) Waist measures 13" across; 8" waist to crotch as it tightens at the seams with multiple washings; 2" hip thickness*KEY DIFFERENCES when compared to other styles:- Medium size fits a larger waist line but shorter crotch coverage.- The seams shrink while the fabric doesn't shrink as much, causing a curling look and fit to the panties.- Compared to the other 2 brands, these have a narrower portion of fabric between the cheeks.For determining your size, I'm 5'8", 150 lbs, and measure 38/31/41.Overall, it's a big thumbs up for Balance Tech panties and I will keep buying this brand int he future! I was excited to receive this three-pack because I've been looking for underwear to wear on long backpacking expeditions and/or during sweaty workouts. Unfortunately, when I opened the "sealed" package, one of the pairs was very, VERY clearly used (I'll let you imagine what that means), which is disgusting. Shame on the person who returned the pair and for Amazon or whomever is in charge of quality control re: repackaging/selling. Obviously I can't speak to whether these things worked or not because I went nowhere near trying them on. I was going to upload a photo but thought I'd spare everyone the ew factor. Triple gross!

For starters, I'm a straight man and these are the first women's panties I've ordered and tried. I was fed up with how uncomfortable men's boxers, briefs and boxer-briefs were and decided to order a men's thong and try that but while reading reviews and reading the questions and answers section on some of them I kept coming across statements something like this: "Men's thongs are almost always uncomfortable due to being made out of the same crappy materials they make other men's underwear out of." and "The pouch in the front makes them feel floppy and look ridiculous unless you are quite 'large' down there." and "You're better off just getting some women's thongs that don't look feminine because they stretch more, are softer and there's way more choices in colors and styles.". So I ordered these (the light grey/black/dark grey ones) and I've had them for a short while now and honestly, they feel great. Very stretchy in the front panel so they hold everything in place nicely for a guy. Extremely comfortable even though this is the very first time I've ever worn a thong. They don't make them for us guys but I'm pleased with how they fit and feel. 5 stars. - Lee

The following review was written by my wife:After my favorite thong underwear was discontinued by the manufacture, I started looking for a replacement. I tried several different types from different manufactures, but did not like any of them for one reason or another. My husband suggested that I look on Amazon to able to see many different brands and styles. After reading dozens of reviews about dozens of different thongs, I decided to try Balanced Tech Seamless Thong.I had a three pack ordered for me to try. I like them and will be ordering more. Some of the pros that I like about them other women may not like. These are my views about the product.PROS:The crotch is slightly wider than others I have tried which means less pulling up through the crotch.The wider crouch also provides a larger padded area to absorb moisture.The waist is a little higher than average which means less sag.Many of the seams are stitched rather than relying solely on adhesive. I think this will prevent the seams form delaminating. For me at least the seams do not show panty lines even though the seams are very slightly bigger.CONS:All though I have not had too much problem, I think the fabric weave could do a better job of wicking away body moisture.OTHER:Since I ordered nude I cannot comment about color fastness.I wash all of my nylon and poly fabrics on delicate/cool wash. I then hang them to dry. I wash in the evening, hang them to dry and they are ready to wear the next morning.I have had these thongs for six weeks, now. I have washed and worn them regularly. They have shown no signs of wear or failure.I will be ordering more.

These underwear are absolutely perfect. They fit like a true medium, the colours are exactly as show and they're not too high or too low. With pants getting higher waisted, I'd actually like them to be a bit higher cut, but they work. They're super comfy...I'm ordering more !!

I just received my underwear, and I love them. They are the best fitting underwear, by far, that I have every purchased—and I've tried many different brands of thongs (which is all that I wear). I like the thickness of the waistband, and the material is soft and good quality, I could wear them to the gym, or under a fitted dress. I'll be ordering more for sure. My only hitch is that I'm an extra small, and the colours are very limited for this size. I'd like to purchase the nude pack, but they don't carry my size—and several other colours. But all around, good buy and super comfy!
