Fit my GE dryer perfectly and saved me from buying a new dryer! Savings? Over $500!!! I watched a video to troubleshoot why my dryer timer knob was spinning and then came to Amazon to find the part! Easy peasy. Easy to install, looks just like the factory one and seems durable. I may order extra to have on hand since my washer uses the same knob.

This replacement dryer timer control knob was exactly what I needed. My original knob broke, and as a result, the dryer would no longer start properly. Rather than spending a lot of money on a service call, I decided to try this replacement. The knob is perfectly compatible with my GE dryer and installed in just a few seconds. As advertised this knob was a perfect fit. It also fixed the knob issue. The timer is now functioning properly.

I was a bit skeptical buying this since I wasn't sure if it would work but I didn't want to buy it for 18 bucks. It works great and fit well! I was worried since I couldn't handle not washing clothes one more day. It even feels more durable than the original one

I recommend testing the post on the appliance by moving it with a wrench to diagnose if the problem is the knob—we were able to move the post with a wrench and the dryer/timer worked as usual without the knob. SO, luckily, this was an easy $8 fix. This knob lines up slightly off from the original but it doesn’t cause any problems. It looks identical to the original. On the GE website this part was $30+S&H.

It was recommended as the last one stripped the shaft and was slipping. I got this with a new timer and it fit and worked perfectly.

It's only been on the dryer for a week but so far, it has worked perfect. It saved me from buying a new dryer.

The knob I received was a perfect match...the only problem I had was the little metal clip inside the knob attachment didn't quite fit over the timer stem. I took it out of the new knob. I then had to remove the little metal clip from the inside of the old knob and put it into the center of the new knob. It works great now.
