Adding a usb battery pack, this is the perfect gig light
Advantages:Warm white light (not as yellow as the picture, but not blinding led-white). My other light cast a bright white light that reflected harshly on white paper and left parts of the music unreadable.I can plug it directly into a usb battery pack, a small one I had laying around kept this going strong for over 2 hours, and probably lasts much longer. The cable is a good length (3ft or more?). No more juggling AAA batteries!Using the battery pack, I don't have to worry about this thing turning on inside my case and burning up batteries. It was always a pain removing and storing batteries after every concert.DisadvantageIt's bigger, and a little heavier, but not really a problem. My basic folding stand holds it just fine.Cheaply made, but I think will last a long time with a little care. This solves a lot of problems, I'm very happy with it.

Perfect for piano, able to hold charge?
Sturdy clip, great light for piano playing. I've had brighter lights, but I like the Holigoo because the warm light is easier on the eyes and it gives a great ambiance. I like where the on button is placed (on the top of the light) because although it's a minor thing, it's more convenient. I opted to not use batteries at all but to keep it charged via power bank. I charged mine for about 5 hours with AC adapter, unplugged the charger, turned it on and then there was light for about 1 second then it turned back off and went dead. I've tried this multiple times. Anybody knows how long it takes to fully charge until it can be on without any current charging connection (is this possible)?

Heavier than I expected…but that's a good thing.
Great for an improvised desk light (when traveling) and for clamping to music stands. I actually use it to light the surface of my Alesis keyboard when playing on our worship team. My keyboard buttons are not backlit (it's from the early 2000s) and this lights them up on stages with minimal lighting. The weight of the base (which holds the batteries) is more than I expected, but that helps when using it as an improvised desk lamp. It easily sits on a table/desk/counter without being tippy. It has two levels of illumination...

Good versatile light.
I like the warm light I chose so it doesn't overly wake me up when playing at night. I usually use the brighter mode, but I do like having a choice. I attached my clip-on light to a Casio Previa series piano book holder. It's super flexible so I can adjust it however I like. I'm thinking of purchasing a white-light version to light my easel when I'm painting.

Great little light for a music stand
Great little light for a music stand. Solid build but light enough for a music stand. The flexible arm works perfectly, and holds its shape. Very nice power button, it’s located on top of the lighting section, very easy to locate and use, a nice feature. Click once for low, once again for high. I bought the warm light version. It lights up the sheet music but doesn’t overwhelm the area with harsh white light. I like it. I give this product high marks.

Very well pleased with this item
Very well pleased with this item. I use it at church every week as I have limitations to my vision and the dual power of the light is extremely helpful. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in a portable light source to use in various situations.

This lamp lights up a music stand effectively. It clips firmly on the stand and would also work to clip on a book if I chose to use it that way I have only used it with AC, so I do not know long batteries will last.

Knockoff of other brands. It works.
This light works fine and gives a choice of two brightness levels. The main complaint is that it doesn't come with a storage case or bag, and it's tough to get it back in its cardboard box.
