Hohm Base 4-Slot Universal Digital Battery Charger w/ LCD Display Screen and Battery Doctor Can Revive Batteries Works w/ IMR / Li-Ion / LiFePO4 / Ni-MH / Ni-Cd 18650 26650 and Other Batteries

This little charger has restored quite a bit of capacity back to a couple of 18650 batteries that had been getting a little long in the tooth from daily use in a very high power flash light. The pulse tech used by the battery doc mode seems to work quite well. However, they state that it is a unique and newly designed feature. I beg to differ, but only from a support for the use of this. Decades ago I used a pulse charger, M.E.N. XXX, I forget the whole moniker! I used in to charge NiCad cells and it performed miracles, even helping with batteries which had discharged too far during storage or batteries that had experience RC model crashes. The Holm charger may be more sophisticated, but the idea is very similar and I'm seeing batteries that have regularly dropped into the 0% to 5% range too often, restored to near new capacity already.

I bought this in combination with their batteries, but this device actually shows far higher usefulness. Had I not searched out the Hohm battery, I would have never found this charger. I guess there's a silver lining in this cloud. The Battery Doctor feature is nice. It has the option to charge at both 50 and 100. So, I guess the 100 is faster, but may heat the battery more. I do enjoy the speed of the charge. Most of the time I just put it on 100 and let it go unless I am leaving the house for a while. Then I put it on 50 just to be safer. The display is more informative than many other chargers currently being sold. It took a few minutes to get used to it, but now it is second nature.

Read the instructions fellas lol I bought this charger for the battery doctor feature plugged it up then went to select battery dr mode and thought it was defective . Come to find out there is an 8 second window when you place the battery in the charger to select different modes. Problem solved after reading the manual or as I like to refer to it as "reference material" lol awesome charger very happy with this purchase would highly recommend for reviving dying batteries

I really like this charger!! charges fast on all my liion batteries including my 20700's, which it does not list on infoI have not tried the other options yet as all my batteries are new and from reputable wholesalers.I have have had all four bays filled with 20700 and it does not heat up. The screen is clear and bright. Easy to read and use.Sturdy and well built, and seems very accurateno cons at this time

There is nothing to not like about this charger. Independent channel for each slot, 3 charge rates, a battery doctor (which works!), and a mAh detector, charges all types of rechargable batteries, what more could you want?

This thing is a beast! I had several rechargeable batteries and the doctor battery brought them back to life
