So if this product is 4 lb per 10,000 gallons, and your pool is 460 gallons, your proportion would be: 4/10000 = X/460. Cross multiple and you would be 10000X = 1840. Divide 1840 by 10000 which is x=.184. Now multiple that number times 16 ounces and you would get 2.944 ounces. So you add about 3 ounces.
