Great bag for traveling families!
Kids Play Tray - Car Organizer and Bag - 3 in 1 Travel Activity Station - Large Size- Water-Proof Nylon - With Cup Holder- Tablet IPad Viewer and Compartments - by TravelMe - Blue & Red We took this with us in our recent family trip to Orlando, FL. When we received the package, I was so impressed with the quality of the bag. My 2 year old son was also so excited to unbox it. You do need to air it and let the odors out once unpacked. However, great colors, lots of ample-sized pockets. We were able to put his activity books, iPad, and snacks in it and it retained its form. No bulging. It's easy to carry and to hang on strollers. For this trip, we flew with Delta and it counts as my son's personal item. The only issue we had was attaching it to the chair in front of us. We didn't elect to since it's a bit intrusive to other passenger. However, the top panel was able to be folded in a way that you can still access the pockets. We will definitely be bringing this to us in our trips including daily driving elsewhere! We recommend this to families to keep their kiddos occupied and organized!

Great concept, but very bulky.
I was so excited when this arrived, that I installed it right away and the kids played in the car with their trays for 35min without us even going anywhere. The tray come with a white board and dry erase markers, which I thought was a great idea. Only after finding my 3yr old covered head to toe in marker scribbles, did it dawn on me that maybe it was not such a good idea. My 5yr old on the other hand was spotless. These trays are rather bulky and take up a lot of leg room. I was hoping they would help for when the kids ate snacks in the car, by containing the mess, but they never remember to put their trays down. The hype wore off after about a week, and now the trays stay zipped up taking up room and the kids never wants to use them. I think if it had a compartment for their table on the outside, so they could watch their tablet with the tray closed, it would be used more.On the positives, it is well made, sturdy material, has lots of little compartments on the inside, and good if your kid likes to draw in the car and needs a hard surface - just keep those pens away from your trouble makers.

Less-smelly foam, but lots of design flaws
Comparison between “Kids Travel Tray” Go Tray and “The Original Kids Travel Tray” Play’nTray Backseat Lap Tray & Tablet HolderPlay’nTray (blue)Bought for the supposedly easy-close Velcro corners so that kids could fold it up themselves for quick rest stops. As it turns out, the Velcro corners are too small and not easy to align even for an adult, but you can still zip the double zippers all the way up to the top handle on either side to be able to mostly close the tray while hanging from the front seat, so that’s fine. Overall I liked the look of this one less, and the smell is worse, but the firmer top and better construction might make it the more functional winner.Cons:- Worse chemical smell from foam insert (make sure you air out in the sun for a couple days).- Small front pockets beneath the tablet are less functional - too small to hold anything but crayons.- Not as pretty and bright.- Side pockets cannot be repositioned to use tray vertically as a backseat organizer.- Side pockets have no top closure, so if you try to keep anything in them when they are snapped back against the bottom, stuff may fall out.- Nether tablet slot is wide enough to accommodate a tablet cover or charge cords. I might cut a slit for the charge cord.Pros:- Better zippers.- Higher side walls.- Deeper and more secure cup holder.- Side pockets are attached to the outside and snap to the underside when not in use, so they don’t pull down the side walls.- The top is reinforced, so it doesn’t slide down when leaning back against something, even with the weight of a tablet.Go Tray (green)Bought for the extra zippered compartment in the base. Doesn’t have the Velcro quick-close corners that the Play’nTray has, but both have double zippers that can be zipped up on both sides to the hanging handle to allow the tray to be (mostly) closed during quick rest stops. I like this one because the white foam smells way less toxic, and the colors are cuter, but there are a few design flaws, especially the shallow cup holder, cheaper zippers, slouchy top, and the fact that the Velcro for the side pockets is inside the walls, so they pull down the side walls when in use.Cons:- The pockets are velcroed to the inside, so they pull down the side walls when in use.- Nether tablet slot is wide enough to accommodate a tablet cover or cords. I might cut a slit for the charge cord.- The cup holder is more shallow and a water bottle tends to fall sideways.- The zippers are lower quality. One was gapped open when I bought it. I was able to fix it for now, but they don’t look as strong.- The top is slouchy and doesn’t stay upright unless it is actually hanging from something.Pros- Cute and bright.- Extra zippered compartment in the base to hold books, papers, etc.- White foam insert is way less toxic smelling than the black foam in the Play&Tray.- Wider front pockets underneath the tablet area could hold snack bags, pencils, markers, etc.- Side Velcro pockets can be repositioned to hang down vertically from the tray when using the whole tray vertically as a backseat organizer.- Side pockets have a small Velcro top closure to keep items secure. Conclusions:It really comes down to what matters more. The pockets matter less to me. The thing that makes me want to chose the GoTray is the less toxic-smelling foam. The thing that makes me want to choose the Play’nTray is the reinforced top that won’t slouch down, the stronger zippers, and the deeper cup holder. I think I will air out the foam for a couple of days and see if that helps.

The best on-the-go purchase for kids
The best on-the-go purchase for kids! I bought 2 trays for my 6 and 3 y/o kids before our long trip to DC. Very excited with the purchase! Kids were able to occupy themselves all way there and back! My little one sits in the 5 point car seat and my older boy sits in the booster. The trays fit perfectly on both seats! Excellent design and quality of the trays, I couldn't find anything better on market.

I just bought this car organizer for my 8 y/o son and very impressed by the quality. Made from durable material and very good workmanship. I think it would be a great Christmas gift for my son, specially for the road trip we are planning for the Christmas holidays. I love the blue and red colors that are matches to my son’s favorite Thomas and friends trays. He likes to stay occupied during the roads, so he definitely can use it for drawing, lego playing or just watch movies (IPad air fits there perfectly) The fact that the table part has a buckle allows to strap it around the body, so it I don’t need to worry that what ever is on the surface will fall down. So, its a great product so far.
