A must have tool for grandfather clock owners
If you own a grandfather clock, this tool is exactly what you need to regularly oil the mechanism. It allows you to deposit just the right amount in the right spot. It's very important to use the right kind of oil (never use WD40!) and the right amount (one tiny drop in each well).Oiling the clock is an extremely simple process that does not require taking apart the clock, however if you've never done it before, there are a few how-to videos on YouTube you should check out first.The oiling pen contains only 5ml of oil -- it's not much, but unless you own a clock factory, that's probably enough to last you a lifetime.The long needle is perfect to deliver the drop of oil in just the right spot with a minimum of fuss.Finally, you can't beat the price. Needed for Clock Maintenance
Our +40 year old GrandMother clock stopped working. I have learned that I need to oil the clock gears. This is an excellent product to do that! Clock maintenance is easy to do--so get this oiler and get started.

Just what I was looking for. The only problem was that the needle is too long for my side-access clock cabinet, I was able to use it, though, to oil my mechanism and the one gear that was grinding a tiny bit is smooth now. When I snip the needle an inch or so it will be perfect. Also, it arrived quickly and in perfect shape. Very pleased. .

Great Product
This will solve your mechanical clock problems. The vast majority of clock problems is caused by lack of oil. Search your computer for videos on how to oil a mantel or grandfather clock. It will show you how to clean the pivot holes and how to put "1" drop of oil in them. You'll need this inexpensive "PEN" oiler to do that. I have fixed three relatively expensive mechanical clocks myself by just oiling. This is a lifetime supply of clock oil. I highly recommend this product.
