With a 1 year old we needed something to stop him from unplugging everything. We bought 3 of these and despite his best efforts he still hasn't been able to unplug them.One thing to note is single screw vs double screw, make sure you order the right one. Also the deep is not that deep really so I'd go for deep ones by default

Worked for about a week. The adhesive stickiness is poor and the latch design is poor. We used it on a drawer type trash can.Not worth your money.

As a bird owner (or for any pet owner, or with child) we worry about messing with plugs and possible electrocution. This is a very well-made product, easy to attach, and works solidly. The only glitch might be that it's a bit tricky the first time figure out how to open it up, but that might have just been my own problem. After that, everything was great. One thing to note: Before ordering, make sure that you check if you need the one-screw in the middle, or the two-screw type of mounting. Sometime's people forget to check, and this product comes available in both styles.Otherwise, visually appealing, and pretty much blends into the wall scenery without any obnoxious protrusion look.
