You get what you pay for.
It's cheap plastic. The reason why I give it 2 stars is that it covers the corner of the viewfinder which makes it inconvenient when you want to frame your image. Also, there is cheap plastic in the viewfinder which collects a lot of dust. It works but it's cheap.

Flimsy and poorly fitted
First of all, my Olympus OM-2 never managed to keep this thing on. It would keep slipping off of the original viewfinder of the camera without any way to seemingly tighten the fit. Then it snagged on the edge of my bag and destroyed what was left of the metal tongue holding it around the viewfinder. Total waste of money.
