NDK New York Women's Chenille Full Length Robe 100% Cotton

So I will start with my size. I am about a size 18 and 5'8" tall. All of the reviews I read all said runs large fit me well and I couldn't find any that said their size. With that said. I ordered the large/xlarge. It fits me well for the most part. I can wrap the robe so it over lays about 6" or so, if it shrinks it won't fit. The sleeves are wide and long, I can fold them back for about a 3" cuff. The length is perfect to the top of my feet. Given I carry my weight in my abdominal and breast area the robe doesn't overlap at my ankles, not sure if that makes sense. I like a roomy robe and I fear the next size would be huge. I bought this to replace the same style of chenille robe that I have had for about 25 years. It was too small and worn out in places (loved the robe). The last thing is the color, I ordered what to me looked like teal green, it is not! More like a kelly green as someone mentioned in another review. I will keep this robe as the quality is great. The sizing is odd and color not depicted well in photo.Update: I did return it for the next size up. The fit was way better. It gave the roomy robe I was looking for. I ordered the fuchsia and it is exactly as shown.

I love this robe!!! It is soft, cozy, and thick enough that it is not see-through. It has two levels of belt loops to make it fit just right. I really appreciate when people include pics with their reviews so I am going to attempt attaching some. Sorry in advance if they don't make it.This robe is wonderful!!! It is long enough to hit my ankles (I am 5'7") which is what I wanted. The sleeves are long but stay put when rolled. The belt can be sinched and will hold without tying a knot. The pockets are big enough for a smartphone, yay! Overall, I think it is just awesome!!!

I've purchased 2 of these. They are great quality, heavy robes that are actually long enough to keep your legs warm along with the rest of your body. In fact, they are too big, but I ordered a second one, so I must not be taking off too many points for giving me plenty of chenille! I like to snuggle up in a robe so I typically order a size larger than I actually need. L/XL was my only choice other than S/M, so I ordered L/XL fearing that anything with "S" listed in the size would not give me that snuggle room. Well, let me tell you....That thing is so large that my 6'4" husband is now wearing it with room to spare. We had never been able to find a robe that long for him! I reordered myself the S/M and it is still quite large on me (5'4" - 125lb). I will need to hem the arms a bit so I can quit struggling with them and the body of it gives me so much overlap that the left pocket is covered by the right side when I tie it on. I'll end up altering that too, but all & all, we're still happy we got them.

I remember when I was younger, my mom had a chenille robe. Sometimes she would let me wear it. I loved the feeling of warmth like a blanket wrapped around me. I have not been able to find a similar robe until I ordered this one. I found that it was $20 cheaper right after Christmas, so I' was glad I waited.Based on the reviews I had read, I chose the white so I wouldn't have to deal with color runs. I would have preferred a pastel color that wasn't available. I ordered a size larger than was recommended for my 5'5", 150 pound body; instead of a large, I ordered an extra large, just because sometimes clothing runs small, and I wanted to be sure this went to the floor and was long on my arms, and wasn't tight around my body; loose and comfy was what I was shooting for. I could have ordered the Large after all; the extra large is quite big on me, but I'm not complaining. The fabric is thick, it is long, it wraps, and I haven't witnessed the shedding other reviewers mentioned. I love it. I told my sisters and expect they will be ordering one too. Go for it.

The Robe is a good weight, nice fabric however the color teal as stated by someone else is a true green. Ok, wont send it back for that as I like green but the clincher is when washed the color streaked along the top of the back so it isn't the same through out. looks a little funny but I have been searching so long to find a decent long chenille robe with a decent color that doesn't shed to the moon that I am willing to look a little streaked. Yes, the robe when thrown into the dryer will fill the lint trap but not nearly as bad as others I have had. It is no worse than new towels. I also like that it is all cotton. No, it isn't as soft as those that have some polyester in them but it also doesn't send fur balls all over the house either and up your nose.

I ordered the small/medium size because of some of the reviews. I am 5' 21/2" tall and thought maybe the robe would be too long if I ordered the medium. I wish I would have ordered the medium but I won't be returning it. After I launder the robe I will not put it in the dryer for more than just a few minutes to fluff it up and then only on air-dry. I don't want it to shrink or it will definitely be way too short. The quality of this robe is excellent...very tightly woven with lots of chenille. It is warm and cozy, has nice deep pockets, a snuggy collar and will be so nice in our cold winter months. It was worth the money compared to other chenille robes I have looked at.

I ordered the 2x/3x size for my 2x/3x frame. I usually wear either or depending upon the maker. The side seams are right at my sides, so it is more of an exact fit, then the big fit I expect robes to be. It is fluffy and more so after washing. The inside is what the inside of chenille is supposed to be, so don't expect chenille to be on the inside as well. It is just plain cotton on the inside. If you want fuzzy inside, get a fleece robe. The sleeves are long which is good for me because I have long arms. Typical robes are more of a 3/4 sleeve for me hitting below my wrists. This one keeps my whole arm warm. It is also long, but good for my 5'8" frame, so shorter people may need to hem it.

THIS PRODUCT IS NOT COLOUR SAFE. I washed it with a bunch of lighter coloured towels that I didn't care much about luckily. They ALL came out teal with blue splotches. It also covered everything in the dryer with lint, and I have never seen so much lint in the lint-trap after one load. However, it's comfortable and warm once washed. FYI I would not wear this without washing, pretty sure dye and lint will come off on your skin.

I had to return this robe as the fit was all wrong. The pockets are way too high. The loops for the belt are located at right under the armpits. I am an average proportioned person so for this to fit correctly you would have to be very short from shoulders to waist. The fabric was nice probably would be softer after washing.

This is a nice robe I like the color in the material. The only complaint I have is that the sleeves are so big fat they hang in everything you can't wear this while cooking I feel like I'm going to set my sleeves on fire. They're bulky to roll up so you can't wear a robe to do dishes or cook

This robe is heavy, but warm. I do like it but the shawl collar is bulking which makes my neck very hot. There should be more material at the bottom of the robe so when you sit down the robe should wrap around your legs. With this one the legs are exposed. Look back at the 70's - 80's design. You still get a 4 star for quality and comfort.

Ordered in a larger size as my preference for more fulsome coverage.. Colour is nice and bright! Cotton thickness is thinner than I expected so I will need to wait to see how well this wears in the long term. My last chenille housecoat lasted > than 15 years before cotton deteriorated. Like the long length and tie at inside waist it s a nice touch!
