Bought this at the beginning of the year and now that it’s the end I’m writing my review. This book bag was the perfect size for my kindergartner. The material is easy to wash and the zippers and seems have not frayed. The pockets are deep and secure my daughter’s cup she hasn’t lost it at all this year! Color didn’t fade as I’ve washed it about 10 times now. Very durable and can reuse for next year if she wishes. If we decide on another print we are definitely sticking to simple modern!

Got this backpack for my daughter to take to daycare with her. I love it so much. Beautiful design. Fabric is thick and durable. Fabric feels completely water proof. It was a little more than I wanted to spend on a backpack but the price was worth it. Love the pockets also for a better organized backpack. Works great for my daughter to take to daycare with her and she will be able to use it for years.

Simple Modern can have all of my money. Their backpack/Lunch box combo has been wonderful. We bought one for each child and it works. They are super durable, they have cute patterns and a great price. I have paid a lot on a store brand and they fall apart in the year and we end up buying a new one. These have lasted and entire school year with no rips, tears and frays.

This is the third Simply Modern backpack I have purchased for my kids, this one is for the third child who started Preschool. My other kids have used theirs for 3 consecutive school years! The durability is that great. The patterns are so cute and they loved picking out their own backpack. Zippers have held up great and they are easy to wipe clean. Great value for the money, especially since I have gotten three years out of the last ones I purchased. When those ones finally bite the dust, I will be buying them another Simply Modern brand backpack.

I accidentally purchased the Toy Story print, but it worked out, as my daughter also loves those movies. We initially purchased it to use as her carry on for snacks and entertainment on a round trip, cross country flight and for a road trip across a few states. We were able to fit my tablet in a thick child proof case, coloring books and crayons, busy books, toys, and more easily into this bag. Over a year later, even with all the abuse from a wild toddler, it is still in fantastic shape with no damage. While the bag is still a bit big for her, when she eventually outgrows it, we'll definitely buy another one in the larger size.

These back packs, or pack packs as my daughter calls them, are wonderful! Great size for my 3 year old to carry, but the straps are long enough for me to sling them on my should with ease and are comfortable for me to wear as well. The pockets provide great functionality for organizing all your children’s things. My girls love the designs we chose for them and they look great. High quality, functional, and easy for a child to wear, I don’t think you could ask for more. Oh, and the material is super easy to clean with a quick wipe down. Definitely get these pack packs, they rock.

Well, it made it through a full year of kindergarten, so I guess it has exceeded expectations! With some touch-up cleaning, it may make it through part of 1st grade, too!

Very pretty! Too big for a 4 year old, but probably 7 year old would make a good fit. Stood up to heavy books, blankets, and sippy cups. Used as carryon through the airport. Great purchase, super cute, just a little big for my 4 yr old, so I ended up carrying it.
