I wanted to class up my Apple Watch--the rubber band that comes with the watch is okay for workouts, but looks cheesy with a shirt and tie! I might have paid more for this watch band. The band is very good quality for the price. In fact, the band and clasp release are comparable to several bands that came with name brand watch for hundreds more. You pay for the watch, not the band--I know--but this really is a nice watch band! The kit also comes with a device for removing/adding links and instructions. Note: The black band passes for a VERY dark brown/charcoal hue--not a complaint, just an observation. Frankly, I think the color is perfect because it pairs well with everything. The one thing the vendor could improve is packaging. To reduce cost, the band, tool, etc come in a plastic bag(!). Among the things Apple always gets right is the packaging--you don't open an Apple product, you reveal it. Other manufacturers should take a hint. With the right package and marketing campaign, this product should be selling for much more.

I have had it for a few weeks and it has lasted. I wear my watch all the time even when I sleep and it is comfortable. It looks great to the eye but it is not a heavy sturdy band that will last a life time like an expensive watch but it is great for the price. Easy to get on and off not on my wrist and the Apple Watch itself. Overall worth the money.

There was nothing to dislike in the strap itself. Very classy and durable. Made the apple watch look like a high end watch. Black color made it look very professional. It was a bit heavy for my father in law, who I had gifted it to. Hence it had to be returned. Only cheap or flimsy thing was the link removal tool. That was kind of flimsy.

The strap arrived very fast, it came with the resizing tool. My wife loved it, but after modifying it she wore it and realized it would not stay on well. The latch would not properly "snap" and lock the band in closed position, all it took for it to release open was a sudden move of the forearm downward.I contacted the seller who requested photos of the issue. I emailed him 2 pictures and 1 video. He emailed me back that a new strap had been shipped to me, and that I was going to receive it soon. I received the replacement product within 2 days.The new one is great, and works as it should, it is very sturdy and my wife loves the look, and feel. We are very pleased with the strap and the excellent customer service, the response time and the solution to our problem.The only thing I noticed is that when the links are bending, the sides between the links that would always be next to each other do not get properly painted, you can see the silver metal exposed between the links. I noticed it when the watch is on the wrist and you're looking down to the watch, the two upper most links adjacent to the watch are rotated almost 45°, and you can see the bare metal with no paint. I checked the first strap received to compare and the same issue existed on that one too. Not a deal breaker for us, but it look better with paint in that area. Overall my wife still likes it, and again, I cannot say enough of the great customer service. We gave it 4 stars just because of the mentioned issue with the paint, had it not been for that it would have been a solid 5.

I just received the band with the so called pin removal tool. The band so far seems nice however don't plan on getting too far with the cheap plastic pin removal tool. I managed to get one pin out before the handle broke. It's made out of plastic and the pin kept bending. I'm now forced to purchase a kit that is made out of metal which I would have done from the start if not for the offer of a free kit (trash). Everything is one star because I have yet to use the band.

I ordered the band for a 38mm Apple Watch. I was impressed with the look and feel when I opened the package but when I put it on the watch one end appeared to be for the 42mm. The other end fit fine.Returning the item but do plan on reordering. Will post an update once I get the replacement.*UPDATEAfter seeing this review the seller actually reached out to me and sent a replacement. The replacement band fits perfectly on both ends. It is heavy and feels quality.I am curious how the black finish will hold up but overall a very good experience.

This band requires adjustments to fit. I estimated that I would need to remove four links. A tool is provided that holds the band and presses the pins out. Follow the arrows on the band for the direction of removal. The pins make a loud snap when they release. I took out two links on each side of the fastener and used the tool to replace two pins.The band is lightweight and has a nice appearance. Once sized, it is easy on-easy off.If you are not handy with tools, you may want to get a friend or a jeweler to size this band for you.

Great product, the tool that comes with it to make the watch band smaller, is junk. You can only use it twice so be sure to be quick when using it, I’d actually pay more money just to get a better tool, the band is awesome, looks great feels great however I feel like I could use one link more to make it more comfortable but unfortunately it is impossible since the tool broke after the second use.
