Keen One Quinoa Harissa Red Pepper - Delicious Royal Organic Quinoa with Hemp, Lentils, Chickpeas and Moroccan Seasoning {Pack of 6 Cups}

I'm a vegetarian and a big fan of quinoa. I make it at home all the time. I thought it would be convenient to have some instant cups in my office for a quick lunch. I've had quinoa cups from other vendors that were very good. The flavors listed here looked good to me, and the reviews were very positive.This just isn't very good. The flavors are plenty strong, but the quinoa and vegetables never seem to cook (and I've left them sitting in the cup for as much as 15 minutes; I've also tried adding more water than the package says). The spices also have a stale taste. I've forced my way through five of the six flavors so far but they all have the same problem. I thought maybe I had somehow gotten a package of expired goods but the "best by" date on the bottom says "17 APR 21". Maybe it means 1921, because that's how stale they taste.

I was a vegan and love quinoa with everyting, this how ever was way better than I expected for a dehidrated product, very easy to just add hot water and wait 10 min. Note follow instructions as to much water definately makes it runny. Note to manufacturer: you can't see the fill line inside the cup, I would add an easy to read fill line, so you don't have to use a measuring cup. Loved the product for sure will buy it again.

I saw this on amazon.com and had to try it. I'm really glad I did the flavor was great and it's packed with 100% healthy. I have been eating them at my desk for lunch and I couldn't be happier with this product. It is just the right amount of food for a quick lunch. Thanks Keen One way to knock it out of the park.

There's a bit of a stuffy barn smell to it, from the presumably freeze-dried veggies, but it's filling & goes well with chicken. I just wish Keen One made a PLAIN quinoa cup, with nothing else, so that I could dress it up how I wanted. I've got garlic, ginger, coconut oil, & Bragg Sprinkle that I would have preferred to the seasonings and other veggies it came with, though I can see how others might prefer the convenience of an all-in-one approach.-Account holder's progeny

The flavors sound delicious, and the actual Quinoa is good. However, it takes longer to cook the additional "items" in the bowl (chickpeas..etc). So you may end up with Quinoa that's fully cooked with the peas and beans being undercooked (crunchy).. I didn't like it.

Tasty and convenient for work-filling and easy to fix. The Jamaican Jerk flavour is outstanding, which is why I ordered a single flavour pack...imagine my disappointment when I received the variety pack instead, a day late nonetheless. Not happy. Too expensive to chance buying a mistake again. 5 Stars for the Jerk flavour, one star deducted for the wrong item being shipped (and now having to eat the Garden Medley flavour, which is as bland as cardboard).

Love the Garden medley flavor but, last two times I ordered it off Amazon I got a different flavor than what I ordered :(Not sure what happened because it said that the Garden medley was in stock when I ordered it. Once again I got a different box than I ordered. I received a mixed flavored box but, ordered all garden medley flavor box. This will be the last time I order it since they are expensive and you should get the flavor you ordered.

I really wanted to like these. I had to force feed every bite for the 2 that I've tried. Let me put out there that I'm not vegetarian- maybe veggies would really enjoy this meal. Another delta is that the cup didn't keep me full for long, and I'm a skinny lady. Simply can't recommend.
