The image on this bracelet is inspired by Propaganda in the People's Republic of China in the era of Mao Zedong. During the Cultural Revolution, this sort of propaganda was crucial for the promotion centered around Chairman Mao Zedong. Chinese propaganda system drew much from Soviet, Nazi and other totalitarian states propaganda methods by Chinese propagandists who used every possible means of communication available such as film and television, newspapers and posters, plays, music and oral media such as memorizing Mao quotes. Today, Maoist propaganda is largely commercialized for the purposes of nostalgia. All my sturdy acrylic cuffs are handcrafted and hand-printed and can be washed in warm water and dried with a lint free cloth. This cuff is available in one medium size - 1 3/8" (34 mm) high, with a 2 5/8" (68 mm) inner diameter.
