They won’t even respond to my emails about using the 2 year warranty to get a new battery. Disappointing. The tools aren’t bad, but the battery is a joke. My battery has dropped LITERALLY 20% during the time it took me to type this. Save your money.Updated Review (3 Star) : I have been reached out to by Yontex who has offered to give me a full refund as well as a new battery replacement. Perhaps I just got a defective one? I will continue to update according to this new battery's performance.Final Review (4 Star): This replacement battery is much better than the first one I received. At least it holds its charge for a reasonable amount of time. I’ve had it for a little over a month now and it is working as expected. The service at this company is pretty great and they are willing to go to great lengths in order to make the customer satisfied. (They followed up with unprovoked emails multiple times.) While I cannot, in good conscience, vouch for the reliability of all of their products - I would say that I am now satisfied with the product I have, but am extremely impressed by their excellent customer service. I think it would be a smart decision to give Yontex your business simply because they will fulfill the expectations that you have for their items.

I purchased this product in August 2017 and was hesitant to post a product review soon after I received it because I wanted to see how well the battery would last. Now that it has been about 9 months, I am happy to report that the battery is still in good condition. The battery life deteriorated a little, but that is to be expected in a phone that has been under heavy use and excessive charging. The installation process of the phone was quite difficult for me, but it only took 2 days of YouTube videos and wrangling with my phone to install! In the installation process, you are your own worst enemy. Putting all of the components back in the phone after installing the battery is tedious, and I found that the cables connecting my iPhone 6 wouldn't even properly connect! There is a lot of trial and error, and the tools given with the battery are sufficient. There are many plastic tools in the kit that bent and broke in the process because they couldn't handle the pressure, but the metal tools survived the ordeal. Great product!

Great product. Instructions were 9.5 out of 10.For the step to remove the sticky film from underneath the battery, they could have mentioned to not break the gum-like putty when pulling it around the battery. You will have to pull it slowly around the edge of the battery while having the battery lifted with the other hand. I broke the film and had to bend the battery gradually to slowly grab pieces of putty underneath the battery with the tongs provided. DO NOT try to pull the battery with brute force from the putty. You will bend the back portion of the phone frame. Take your time to pull all/most of the putty from underneath the battery. This step alone took about 15 minutes to complete for me. Once you have the putty removed, the rest of steps were easy-peezy.Besides this minor lack of detail, my iPhone 6 works like new as the first week of buying the phone. Great product. The kit even comes with a new screen protector.

My original iphone 6 battery got damaged using a faulty charge cord, so I replaced it with another battery, which did not hold charge very well itself. After accidentally dropping my phone while charging, the battery lost the ability to hold charge completely and the phone would only stay on while plugged in. So I got the YONTEX battery, which I have since used to replace my previous battery and I am pleasantly surprised by how long it keeps charge throughout the day. It is almost as though my phone is brand new again. I have gone over 6 hours with the battery getting down to just about 34%, which is still great performance in comparison to its predecessor. It also charges up quickly while plugged in. I am completely satisfied and will recommend this brand for anyone needing a battery replacement.

This kit for my iPhone 6 saved the day! Over the past few months my old battery just wouldn't hold a charge and by last week would die at 86% battery. I ordered this kit in hopes of extending the life of my phone and it worked beautifully!All the tools are included along with a new screen protector. When pulling out the old battery, fold out the tabs as described in the written instructions and then gently pull on each strip like a command strip, it will come out just like command strip glue strips! Easy peasy!I do have phone issues now but I think I may have missed a connection when reconnecting my screen. I'll troubleshoot that soon. For now I'm super happy and will order more

Replacing the battery was very straightforward after watching several YouTube videos. The company sent all the tools required and I’m posting this review after one year of using the new battery. So far it’s performed well, holding a nice charge. Their customer service is very good and prompt so Im not a bit worried of any problems. if the battery fails to perform I will post an update. I ordered another battery for iPhone 5 recently but the plastic tools broke for some reason. They are sending a replacement no questions or problems asked!!

After spending a month waiting for the new iPhone to come out while my current iPhone only working when connected to a power source, I knew I had to do something. Found this kit online and went for it because of the price and the fact that it came with the tools. It's been a week since I changed the battery and the iPhone 6 has been going strong. Charge lasts a full day with heavy use. Feels like new with the new battery, no sudden draining. Hopefully it'll last long, and if not they have warranty. Overall great kit, tools feel pretty good, and it came with an extra set of screws which was a nice detail. The screen protector isn't tempered glass but is thick, so it's fine.
