Great starter kit!
I’ve been growing sprouts for almost 10 years with the mason jar method and this has changed the game for me! Seeds spread evenly and stay put, good even drainage and lightproof. Two trays allow for larger yields per grow or staggered grows. The mesh is fine enough for alfalfa/clover/broccoli seeds (after 12 hour soak). There is definitely a learning curve compared to mason jar method, removing the finer sprouts and cleaning the screen is out will take getting used to. A bit more affordable than other options as well, and I think that it has potential for expanding with a second kit too!Photo from day 5 of 1st seed spouts grow with kit (started 10/27/22):#1 - 1.5 tablespoons alfalfa & clover#2 - 2 tablespoons mixed lentils

Seems Okay
The product arrived in a timely manner and works as described. So far I’ve grown two batches of sprouts, but now comes the difficult part of cleaning it all. It seems there are some small sprout bits that get stuck along the edge of the mesh and are pretty tough to get out. Not sure how others are going about getting it out. I thought a good spray down would do the job, but I was wrong. The growing process was simple, quality seems okay, but cleaning is proving a little tricky.

Absolute Junk!
I've gotten this set before from a different seller name also composed of a string of nonsense letters and was quite happy with the quality. This appeared to be the exact same item from another oddly named seller even using the same photos and product description as the high quality set and the price was the same (about double the price of poor quality items). This set however is just crap. I don't believe it's stainless steel. Set was filthy and very poorly made and weighs less than half of the set I already own.Avoid this seller!

Brown Sprouts?
I was very excited to buy this product as I love to grown and eat my own sprouts, and need to make them every week to keep up with the use in my household. I was curious how this would work since there is no light that penetrates to the sprouts during their growth cycle. Boy was I right. Brown Sprouts all around! Let me start by saying that I love how they grow straight. They are lovey when you see the roots popping through the bottom of the mesh, but let me tell you, extraction is absurd! You have to work so hard to pull them all out, and then to clean the mesh for its next use...NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE!! I did an experiment where I grow a few in a jar, and the rest in the trays. You can see the stark difference in the photo I posted. For what I paid, I am highly disappointed. I will be searching for an alternative spouter that will allow for light absorption and large harvests.**Update** As I am looking at my photos, I wonder if I used too many seeds. I don't think that is the case, but could be a possibility. The photo where the sprouts look more green in the tray was when I attempted to use the sprouting tray uncovered. They looked better, but still not as green as when they are sprouted in a jar. All other photos sprouts were sprouted covered. I did presoak my seeds for 24 hours covered.
