Great for the beach/motorhome etc
I purchased 6 beach size towels about 5 years ago. Yes, as others have written in their review, the towel is quite stiff at first. I ran mine through several washes before actually using them. Seems as though there is an aroma to the towels when you first get them, but the washing helped out with that , as well as made them a bit more supple. These are not towels you would cuddle up in. These towels absorb the water off of your skin and dry quickly. Great for the beach/motorhome etc... I have recently purchased the bath size for the college years. Very happy!
