I think a shorter cable works better for Thunderbolt4 so bought this cable to use with my new external Thunderbolt4 drive. It works great and is much neater. I hate cords all over the place and this looks much neater with my Mac Studio. My drive worked fast and efficiently. I’m happy with it,

I got this for the specific use of using on a power bank and have it behind my phone with the cable doing a u turn. its very flexible and Feels good quality, it's worth it for specific purposes. Also since its smaller it tends to be faster than a linger cable. Great for car use or traveling.

These have traveled throughout the world with me for just under a year. I use them exclusively for my two pull-out screens, used on my Macbook Pro. The length is perfect to reach the USB-C ports on each side as well as the screen so I'm not fighting lots of extra cabling. I love the flat design and the flexibility of these cables. So I bought this for my Caldigit TS4 to easily switch between 2 laptops. I got tired of moving the entire cable, so got this and have 2 cables close to it so i can just unplug and replug the other laptop.I was excited, got it setup but it doesn't work entirely. I get display from my 2 monitors, my keyboard works, my external drive shows up but the sound cuts out badly (I get a little bit of sound every 2 seconds, and can't even make out what is said). I seems that it just does not use the entire bandwidth. So There's no way this a 40 Gbps cable.So if you use this for just some displays it's gonna be fine, but don't try to power too much with it, it won't work, unfortunately.

Não funciona conectado na interface de áudio. Eu utilizo a interface SSL2+ que liga quando é conectada diretamente via entrada USB-C, tentei usar esta extenção a fim de não desgartar a entrada USBC-C do computador, mas ela não passa o áudio, nem sequer não passa energia para a interface. O problema é que não tenho mais nenhuma utilidade para esta extenção.

I didn't expect that for this price. This cable doesn't have thunderbolt chip that I am aware of but on a thunderbolt 3 only NVMe enclosure the connection was seen same as a thunderbolt 4 cable and not USB. Quickly tested speed shows the same as the thunderbolt 4 cable. Maybe the very short cable allows that, I don't know.This cable is definitely Thunderbolt 3 compatible. I don't have a thunderbolt 4 device to check.

save your money. this cable doesn't work. bought it for connecting a cell phone to an ssd and it doesn't read the drive. no lights on the drive to indicate connection nor does the phone recognized the drive. Use my old cable and it works fine.
