Gueray CD Player Portable Bluetooth Desktop CD Players for Home

i bought this CD player in may, and it has been very fun to use! i use it mostly for playing my CDs but occasionally use the bluetooth feature, too. the sound quality is amazing, and the player gets very loud, especially with the CDs. bluetooth is easy to set up and is reliable, meaning i haven't had any issues of it disconnecting. the remote it comes with is reliable, too. i do notice that the button response time is a bit delayed, but it isnt a major issue when turning the volume up or down. i'm not a fan of the replay feature, since when i used it, it played the same song over and over again, and i had to manually skip to the next song on the album which then played on a loop. i'm sure there's a fix for this but once again it isn't a big issue. i haven't had to change the battery in the remote since i got the player, so the battery life on it is good too! getting the CDs in and out is easy for me but may be a bit of a pain for those with mobility or sight issues if you have the player upright. on lower volumes with CDs, you will hear a small hum when the CD is spinning. this doesn't bother me but i wanted to mention it if it was helpful, it's barely noticeable through the music. easy to turn on and off, easy to set up. this is a great CD player for anyone looking for one on a budget!

This is a great cd player!! Easy to use and music quality is clear when cd is being used. My twins have it in another color.. This was a gift for their friend. She LOVES it.

Just got it and have been running it all afternoon, working well so far. The audio quality is actually really good, it's plenty loud. Just don't expect a ton of bass from it. Hasn't skipped or stopped or anything yet. The remote is finicky. Stop button, play and tracks, power all work but it won't control volume for some reason. But the buttons on the device itself work. It displays the time for the songs but not the tracks so you can't tell which track you're on. The angle of placing and removing CDs is a bit awkward, it definitely would've been better if it had a hinge and opened sideways fully, but it's still doable. It's small enough that you can just lay it down if you want it to be easier. It has an on and off switch on the side. The cable it comes with is plenty long. Also I saw a lot of people say it didn't come with a plug brick but mine did? So not sure what happened there. Bluetooth worked with no issue, can control volume from my phone as well. Overall I really like it and I hope it turns out to be reliable. It's a great, space saving CD player and looks nice. Just deducted one star for not being able to see the tracks and the awkward angle of the lid.

Sound is good and works well with the buttons on the player. The remote works well with my overhead light that has its own remote. The only way to stop it, is to turn the light off at the switch. Otherwise, the light turns on every time. Not so with the player. It takes several tries to get the player to turn on with the remote. The blue tooth won’t send to ear buds or headphones. This may be my fault, but the directions are sadly lacking, so if there’s a trick, I don’t know it. I will keep it despite the fact that I intentionally bought one with blue tooth capability. If I buy another one it will be a brick and mortar store so I have a poor clerk I can harass to show me what I’m doing wrong. UPDATE - OPERATOR ERROR! I don't know what I did wrong the first time I tried to use the remote, but the next day it worked perfectly. I haven't had a chance to retry the blue tooth - but I have a feeling it will work now as well. So, definitely happy with this little player.

This product was acquired for my husband during his recovery period. I particularly appreciate its upright design, which offers a distinct advantage over flat-lying alternatives. The versatility of its audio output, allowing for CD playback via Bluetooth or wired earbuds, is highly commendable. My husband also finds the integrated radio feature quite enjoyable. The overall quality is impressive, and I wholeheartedly endorse this product. I am considering the acquisition of a second unit. The sound reproduction is excellent, and the device performs flawlessly.

I wanted something compact to place on a shelf next to my tv / reading chair, with both CD and USB drives as options for my music source. I planned to use wired headphones (for simplicity) most of the time, rather than the player’s speakers, so not to interfere with the tv's sound.. The speakers on the CD player I received are poor, tinny sound, no bass -ironically - to speak of. But it is compact, plays CDs, makes noise, has a USB-A port and handy remote control, and is nicely styled and made. The controls are on the top but hard to read as the control symbols are the same color as the buttons. Then I remembered the included remote control. After installing my own two AAA batteries, the remote was up and working - as long as I left the CD player’s power switch in the ON position. I find the remote to be much more convenient to use than the control buttons on the player. Fortunately the headphones I bought have excellent sound across the spectrum, including bass. It is a night and day sound difference between the CD player’s speakers and the headphones. But my ears hurt after an hour or so of using the headphones, and I am disappointed the speakers will not provide a good sounding alternative when I need a break from the headphones. The USB-A port is one of the primary features I wanted in a CD player, and it seems to be working well - good sound is sent to my headphones. While a USB drive will be my primary source of music, it is nice to have the option of playing CDs as well. FM radio is available, depending upon reception in your location. This player apparently does not support the volume control feature that came as part of my headphones, so the volume controls on the player (or easier yet, on the remote control) must be used to control headphone volume. The remote control is a great feature. I had not given it much thought of needing or using it, but it makes using the player much easier. I copy a lot of my favorite CDs to a single USB drive for storage efficiency, so I am frequently skipping through songs for variety. The remote control makes that very easy. Unfortunately, like our tv remote control, it uses the same frequency as the two nearby reading lamps’ remote controls; changing the volume of either the tv or the CD player simultaneously changes the reading lamps’ brightness. I will probably keep the CD player because it is compact, supports USB drives, has a very handy remote control, and I will be using headphones most of the time. But will wish for something with decent speakers.

The color is darker than the listing photo, instead of a sky blue it's more of a turquoise, but I honestly like that more because I like when colors are stronger/vibrant I got this to replace my old CD player, and the sound quality on the built-in speakers is honestly better than I expected. They're not going to be perfect, but they're better than my old CD player and it gets pretty loud too It's also interesting that it came with a remote, I've never had a CD player come with one before and I honestly forgot it was in the listing photo until I opened the box lol I've only used this to listen to a couple CDs so far, but zero skipping and using it with headphones worked great too. I also tried the bluetooth with a song on my phone and it connected really easily Only thing I don't like is the door opens from the bottom so putting a disc in is awkward, and the buttons are on the top with no color variation so it's hard to tell which is which immediately and I click the wrong thing. Guess I need to use the remote but I'm not used to doing that for CDs lol

I'm old school. I have CDs and DVDs. Trying to find players anymore is ridiculous. I found this unit. Comes in several colors. Haven't tried the remote yet, as I usually simply walk over to it. So I cannot comment on that. Even without reading the instructions, it's easy to figure out. Sound quality is good, especially for such little speakers. Reception seems great. It's only day 2, but I would recommend so far!

I'm absolutely amazed by this multifunctional portable/desktop CD PLAYER from Gueray. Ngl, I went in with a skeptical mind about its sonic fidelity. But as soon as I fired up my repertoire of music albums on this player, it simply sounded great, preserving the nuances in inflections. Bluetooth range adequate, with awesome Tx & Rx fidelity. The built-in timer works like a charm. Overall build quality, despite being plastic, is worthy of appreciation, as it seems durable with no noticeable creaking, but only time will tell. MP3 wma codec CDs play well, albeit I've never tried VBR codec yet. TF card reader is such a nice addition. The included remote control is nice too.

This little player looks cool and the audio quality is okay. It's not going to raise the roof but unless you're really trying to piss off your neighbours it's loud enough.

Pour remplacer une grosse chaine hi-fi encombrante et obsolète des années 80. Ce petit lecteur économique, sympa et joli d'aspect tient peu de place et en plus est décoratif. Mise en route rapide et sans problème. Certes le son est quand même faible surtout dans les basses mais branché sur ma petite enceinte BT Marshall cela donne un joli son bien net. Seul petit défaut à mes yeux, le chargement du CD qui se fait par-dessous la trappe d'insertion. Vraiment pas ergonomique, un chargement par le dessus aurait grandement facilité l'opération. Mais bon c'est le seul reproche que je pourrais faire, pour le reste que du bon

This product came out better than I expected. Easy to use and the remote control is a nice touch. We found that we didn’t have to set it on a loud setting and could easily hear music on the lowest volume (as background music while you cooked in the kitchen or tended to your chores). Saves time and effort for someone used to playing CDs and don’t have to set things up using your phone if you don’t want to.
