Convenient
I've purchased thee for years and while there's an additional cost for the attached laminated overlay it is worth it if you need that protection. I ue to buy the unprotected label and then a separate clear label to go over it. In a hospital setting you need the protection from cleaning chemicals and such. It's about the same cost separately so I just get this all in one as it saves time and keeps things simple.
