Evidently I didn't do that this time. These do nothing to exfoliate nor are they anything like a sponge. The "thing" does suck up water but it's too smooth to do anything in the way of exfoliating. I thought, well, let's add some soap and see if I can use it as a sponge. Nah, that doesn't work either as the soap wanted to slide right off (until I caught it and rubbed it in) but again, it's too smooth to do much for washing. I might as well as take a silk washcloth and try to wash with that.
