Dell S2418HN Monitor 24" Infinity Edge Full HD HDR Display

I purchased 2 monitors in August, 2018.Both work great. no issues.no speakers. so one star just to be able to submit rating.no gaming. so one start just to be able to submit rating.

Decent monitor. Nothing special but gets the job done.

This product worked fine for approximately 11 months. The screen suddenly failed on it (lots of vertical lines) though and I wasn't able to get in touch with the vendor to discuss a warranty replacement. Dell provides at least a 1 year warranty on this product but won't honor it if not bought directly from them. I emailed this vendor about my problem but have not heard back.

Superior picture quality for price.

pros--works as advertised.-HDR does work, its a setting in the preset color option, using a ps4 pro with it-accepts full 4k signal, even though its 1080p.-if sound is channeld through the hdmi and out the monitors 3.5mm output, it will use all dual channel frequencies (44.1kHz - 192kHz) of linear pcm-has an option to boost response time, unknown what effect it has.cons-- can see a warm and cool lights emmiting from the edge of the screed if a black or verry dark image appears. its a little destracting, it moves with your fov, unknown how it works.it was worth the price of 220$ to me.helped eliminate alot of cords and brought more functionality to my consoles.only 4 stars due to that one con. really distracting.

I would like to replace all my monitors with these. Great bargin for a fantastic design, appearance and visuals.

This monitor is really good for gaming and good as a normal pc monitor although it doesn’t bring a speaker with it which is a bummer

Probably the best part about this monitor for me was how easy it is to put together. The base slides right into the monitor with no screws required. I primarily wanted to use this for basic Excel as well as to play Xbox One, the screen shields off any glare which is nice however I feel like the graphics are somewhat lacking for gaming. It looks pretty similar to an older 1080p tv (although it should have higher pixel density and better response time) and is significantly worse than a larger 4K tv. One plus is that a headphone cable can connect any bluetooth speaker (provided it also has a port) so I can easily run the sound to my speakers or iHome. If your purposes are for work, it is pretty sleek and very functional, but only one HDMI port is not very practical for multiple devices. Overall I got for $120 from BestBuy but would not pay any more.
