This coffeemaker is easy to use. Everything about it works really well. It is a beautiful red.

I dislike giving a rating like this and this is probably the first time I've given a 1 star review.I prefer using a French Press for my coffee so I've used this coffee maker about 10 times since I got it 2 months ago. It started with the microwave oven that I really liked the style of so I ended up buying about five different appliances to match everything in my kitchen. The coffee maker worked fine one day then the next day it makes noise like the water is getting hot but no water comes out into the coffee grounds. I tried calling Amazon and since I'm a month out of the warranty or whatever it is it's got a year warranty I can't return it and I'm stuck contacting the manufacturer.I paid $80 for this coffee maker and I really expected some help from the people I bought it from to take care of this product warranty. I just got out of the hospital with having a hip replacement and I don't have time to go all over trying to return this thing. I'm very very disappointed. I will never buy another product from this company because the warranty is not being stood up by. When I did call the manufacturer I got a recording no one's return my call it's terrible. And I feel the people I bought it from 2 months ago should take care of this problem but that's not going to happen so I'm done with this I'll buy another coffee maker from Braun or somebody that makes a decent one for my $100. I recommend do not buy any products from this company.Update: After contacting the manufacturer they are sending me a new one. It was very easy for me to take care of. I will not change my rating. I feel the vender should have taken care of this problem. All the vender did was give me a runaround and empty promises. They said they would call me back the next day and it never happened. This vender will never get a cent from me again. Recommend: DO NOT BUY!!!

It's gorgeous and matches my Nostalgia microwave and toaster perfectly! In great condition too, I could tell it had been used only by the coffee stains on the filter, but otherwise it looks like new!

(Read after note. Beware buying used! This one was new.)I like it. It's pink! Slightly peachier than the photo shows. It's big, but it's lightweight. Yes it's plastic. I think everything in a pretty color is.It made a good cup of coffee.Like somebody else said, the top does pop open when you put the pot in and out. The little spring thing where it drips out bounces up when you put it back in, and makes the lid pop up if it's not locked.I only used it once, I had no problem with the brewing.I'm just thinking maybe I should have gotten the aqua like the rest of my Nostalgia. I painted my cabinets pink and aqua pearl.I love my Nostalgia toaster and mini air fryer in aqua! Really wanted something in pink.I know other people had problems with the operation of theirs. Or breaking early. I don't know, because I'm not keeping it.Carafe is a decent thickness. And there's big enough spaced in in the back to pour the water without spilling it.***Note! I bought it used "like new" in aqua. And the water poured out of the bottom immediately, all over my kitchen counter top! Do not buy used!There was no instruction book either, which would have been minor.They probably just resold it even though it was defective. Disappointed 😞

I bought this for the nostalgia, it failed to make me nostalgic. Perhaps that is my fault as I have never had a red coffee maker before, nor did my parents, or grand parents... Oh well, "c'est la vie. Made great coffee though.
