I've tried other tapes for moving and shipping from various local stores. Usually they're either too expensive, or are of poor quality and peel right back off. I saw the star rating, read some reviews, and thought I'd order it to see if they'd work. I'm very pleased with this tape! They're a great price for what you get! The tape is pretty strong, although I was skeptical before purchasing, I use it for shipping items, and the rolls work very well. I use these on a 3 inch wide tape gun, just because I already had it, and the tape doesn't tear or fall apart. My packages are on the smaller side, but they've been arriving safely, so I know the tape survives mail carriers. If you need some good tape, that will get the job done, and not spend a fortune on just one short roll, I'd recommend TapeMe Clear Packing Tape.

I ship many things each month and been looking for a way to save on tape. 3M is too expensive and the heavy duty ones are even more expensive. I tried these to save money and they are great. In my opinion, I think it is a hybrid between the heavy duty and light packing tape. It is strong but not as strong as other brands of heavy duty tape. Does the job and holds well. 12 rolls for about $1.50 each, can't beat it.

Although the length of the tape is less than from when I first ordered, it still is a good packing tape: sticky and holds on to the box. The 3M packing tape is thicker but for the price, double strapping the tape makes it worth it and I primarily used it on the lighter boxes.

Exceeds my expectations. It's more heavy duty than the stuff I usually buy at Walmart in the green plastic dispensers. This fits well and moves easily on both the green and the red plastic dispensers marked '30 yards', so you don't have to spend money on a special dispenser. It doesn't come off the roll as easily as the EZ start brand. But it's so much cheaper and sticks so well, it's worth the tiny bit of extra effort. So save your cheap dispensers and re-use for this tape. I have dozens of boxes to pack and am extremely happy with this tape.

The media could not be loaded. Like most people I was skeptical about buying this tape. At first I was excited to receive so many rolls for such a great price, but then the unimaginable happened. One entire roll kept splitting for about half the roll. It looked like there was a hair line split done somehow in production. I gave up on that roll and moved to another just to find that that roll kept splitting too. On top of this dreadful disaster, the tape did not adhere well at all to the boxes. I had to use about 8 strips just for the bottom of the box. It was obviously a headache. I can't pack and ship boxes that might fall apart for my customers so I just won't be using this tape anymore. I'll let the rest of the rolls collect dust or find someone to give it to. Buyer beware. It's pretty bad tape. You'll need tape for your tape by the time you're done.

I am moving my home and started ordering the packing supplies. I took the plunge and ordered an item that had no review. It is very unlikely of me but I liked the description and wanted to give it a try. It was a pleasant surprise. Not only the quality is good, it is much better than the last highly rated one that I bought earlier. It is thick enough to be used for box packing and holds firmly. There are a few brands that I found coming off the next day after I sealed the box. I could find the end easily when lost and at the price, it is hard to beat.

Thin, but that's not the main problem. It comes unstuck. It does not stay stuck to cardboard or even itself. The main job of packing tape is to stick to cardboard or itself where it fails at its main reason for existing. I wish I'd not purchased so much (or any of it at all for that matter). Don't get stuck with this like I did and pay a bit more for a name brand.
