## Overview

The ESI Super Cap Seal XL 20 FT is a heavy-duty, 2 1/8" wide EPDM rubber seal designed for truck caps over 200 lbs. Its 20-foot length covers extra-wide bed rails, filling all gaps with superior compression resistance and vibration absorption. The kit includes putty tape and alcohol pads for easy, professional installation, making it the preferred choice for durable, weatherproof truck cap sealing.

## Description

For truck caps that require more than 20ft of seal use Super Cap Seal XL 23ft (ASIN: B00BNGBXOC). Easily trims to size to fit trucks with smaller width front bed rails. NOTE: To determine if you need to use a Front Rail Seal 6ft (ASIN: B00C0WVV72) measure the difference in height from the truck's side bed rails (including, if any, bed rail caps) to the truck's front bed rail. If the height of the gap is .250" or less install Super Cap Seal XL only. If the height of the gap is from .251" to .487" install Front Rail Seal on the cap's front base rail and install Super Cap Seal XL 20ft on the cap's side base rails. If the height of the gap is extra-large, from .488" to .875" install Super Cap Seal XL 20ft or 23ft on the cap's front and side base rails and install Front Rail Seal on the truck's front bed rail. OTHER QUALITY TRUCK CAP SEALS FROM ESI: Super Cap Seal 23ft (ASIN: B00C7VU9BA) measures 1 1/2" and fills all bed rail gaps, for caps 200 lbs or less. Premium Cap Seal XL 23ft (ASIN: B001PQR63A) measures 2" wide and fills small to medium bed rail gaps, for caps 200 lbs or less. Ultra Cap Seal 23ft (ASIN: B00MPMBIZW) measures 1 1/2" wide and fills all bed rail gaps, for caps over 200 lbs. IMPROTANT: To completely seal out the elements install an Ultimate Tailgate Seal with Taper Seal to the tailgate gap and sidewalls (ASIN: B00IPQWXZQ). Save 25% and buy the COMBO Pack: Super Cap Seal XL 23ft and Ultimate Tailgate Seal with Taper Seal (ASIN: B00BQZ4G3U). Made in USA

Review: Strong Sturdy Seal - This cap seal is wider than my original and thicker too - big plus. It is made of very sturdy rubber and has not leaked since installed months ago. Installation was easy. The adhesive backing held the seal in place as I positioned the cap over the be rails. I was careful to drop the cap straight down so I wasn't sliding it around on the seal. The length of the seal was well more then enough for a 6' truck bed.
Review: Finally waterproof! - I camp in the back of my truck, having installed fabric on mostly everything, waterproofing is a huge issue, no one likes waking up to a wet sleeping bag after a night of rain! After trying a handful of other weather stripping and truck bed seal products, I think I've finally found something that works. When I held the roll in my hand I knew it was a quality product, plenty heavy and a high quality feel. The product maintains its "sponge" when sealed under the truck cap, unlike a weather stripping product which inevitably compresses to a thin strip of nothing. The added bit of butyl-rubber type compound (think sticky-tack) is a great addition for cramming into those tiny holes and corners which are otherwise impossible to fill. Make sure you clean the mating surface with alcohol or acetone to get the best results, I found the small alcohol pads weren't quite enough, but that they added them to the kit at all was a nice touch, everyones got some rubbing alcohol laying around the house anyways. SO happy with this great stuff, well worth the price.
