Most of the sounds are great except the thunder storm, which is total garbage. It's overly distorted and not relaxing at all. The volume control is not well made. It's wonky and doesn't accurately control the volume. The overall unit is nice, just slightly overpriced in my opinion.

The sounds on this machine are excellent! Unfortunately, the design and functionality are very poor. I purchased this machine, and it had a loose connection in the cord, so it would not actually charge and therefore shut off randomly. The company replaced it with another, and the 2nd one had the same issue. The light would blink sporadically due to poor connection. Strangely, the way it is designed, the cord angles downward and does not leave enough clearance between the machine and the surface it is sitting on, which makes the machine not sit flat and puts unnecessary pressure on the cord, which further exacerbates the loose connection issue. Needless to say, we just returned the 2nd as well. Sadly, I cannot recommend this product, which is a bummer because the sounds were good... when they worked.

The sound quality is average, it is not loud enough to cover back noise if that is part of your goal. The usb cord is only about 4 inches long so you must plug it in practically on a wall Orr the floor, I actually used another charge cord to charge it.

I have two of these sound machines and really like them a lot. They seem to last a long time (I've had one of them for over two and a half years). I also love how soft they can get. Some sound machines' volumes don't go very low, but these do, which I really like.

Awesome! I'm a massage therapist working in an older building with thin walls. Lot's of noise in the outside hallway. I use the water fountain setting and it drowns out all the noise! The sound is pretty natural and continuous. There are several other soundscapes and I noticed the lighting/thunder storm is least realistic, but otherwisel, great product. Great price, great quality, easily hidden; HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Battery doesn’t hold charge and sound quality for ocean sounds is not soothing. It’s loud and like white noise being blared at high volume and low volume.

I have had the same problem as another reviewer. I have had two of these now and both have stopped charging - rendering them useless. They are complete garbage. Save you $ as I have lost mine to this defective piece of junk

not bad for price. six choices, some better than others.agree with other reviewer, the usb cord is shortand prob wouldnt cost much to replace with 4 ft connector.
