This is a fine way to hold 99 gallons under the surface. It's also very strong and I can stand on it without worry (and I am not an especially light person).I use mine for a pondless waterfall and am able to get a pooling effect by covering all of it, other than the triangular trap door, with the liner. So far as the door goes, it would be nice if there were a realistic rock cover one could get for it. Likewise, the unit really needs the option for a skimmer filter, either in the door or as an add-on to the side. I would also like to see a better way to check water level than having to uncover the access trap door and eyeball the water. Yes, there are things you can get that float around inside and talk to your cellphone, but a simple dipstick or some such would be nice.Finally, the square part is somewhat limiting, most fountains and falls are going for a kind of natural look so a more irregular shape, such as kidney shaped or even an oval option would have been preferable for me.

Took a good bit of work to dig the hole for this thing, but the kid is home from college, so he got to do it. The only problem is things are pretty tight inside depending upon how challenging your hose hook up will be. A couple more inches of space under the center hole, in every direction, would have made things a bit easier to hook up.

Nice product, very sturdy. Install looks to be straight forward.

Expensive but …. Worth it. It is very sturdy especially if you have a heavy fountain. Been waiting a few years to change to this upgrade. Wish it was a little more affordable
