Excellent booties!
I have a Mexican hairless dog in New Hampshire and understandably she doesn't like cold. Last year I got her muttluks which were too expensive and wore out quickly and weren't waterproof so they were only good for one snow/slush walk a day and then had to dry. Anyway glad I found these they're awesome! Ava my dog seems to appreciate them and they don't seem to bother her since they fit well. They go over the "ankles" so they don't slip down or fall off. Fleece lined, traction on sole, and reflective bands- couldn't ask for more. She even ventures out on the snow now, whereas without boots she lifted her paws when she walked on snow and she'd mainly stick to the cleared sidewalk. She's 60lbs with a ~2.5inch paw and the medium fit great.

Can easily handle -25 F Minnesota temps and stay on in deep snow!
Our 5 month old Lab puppy wore these in the northwoods of Minnesota during a -25 F actual temp cold snap in January. The boots are easy to put on - the dog's foot naturally slides into the solid base - her feet stayed dry, and amazingly they STAYED ON, even in snow deeper than the boot's height. Our 5 year old Lab had a different pair of boots that took longer to put on, absorbed water and caused her foot to get wet and didn't stay on. Our puppy adjusted quickly to wearing the DuraPaw boots and she even wore them on several hikes without needing any adjustment. And they gave us such peace of mind knowing she wasn't lifting her paws from the bitter cold. We ended up using the boots for both dogs and taking them outside for potty breaks separately. We were very impressed and plan to buy a second pair for our 5 year old Lab.

Great fit, 5 star!
I was asked to try out these boots on my small dog. They slipped on easily. My dog walked a little funny at first and it made for some great video! We went up north to the snow to really test them out. They worked perfect! Her feet and legs were warm and dry. The elastic pull at the top really helped the boots to stay snugly on her skinny legs. She was able to easily maneuver in the snow and I wasn’t worried about ice or anything. The dual straps worked well and I like that they are reflective. I highly recommend these boots to anyone who lives where it snows or rains a lot.

Half the snowballs!
Since this was a warm winter, I only got to try these on my 106# "noodle" (half newfie, half poodle) a couple times. I wanted something that would prevent him from collecting those huge snowballs around his feet when the snow was sticky.Truth is, I couldn't get them on his front paws he struggled so much. - I may have to find gaiters for him next year, something that I can just wrap around his leg. However, I was able to put these on his hind legs. The first time, I didn't wrap the velcro tight enough and they started coming off while we were still a ways from the house. Struggling in the snow to try to keep them on his feet was no fun.I was successful though the last time, and we managed to have a walk, only bringing in the house half the snow that we usually collected. (Remember, I couldn't get them on his front paws.)So, bottom line is: give yourself plenty of time to get them on, and keep him busy with some treats while you're doing it. It kept the snow off the long wavy fur on his back legs. He wasn't happy at first, but he seemed to be getting used to it.I'm ready for next winter at least.

I also liked that the rubber soles looked like it could handle ...
Did not hold up to my German Shepherd's activity level. I bought these to protect his feet when hiking in the snow this winter. My dog is very active and loves to play fetch on hikes. I thought that the tall legs of these boots would keep them from falling off. I also liked that the rubber soles looked like it could handle any rugged terrain. I bought the correct size according to his feet measurements. No matter how tight I would put these boots on, one of the boots would always come off after only a few seconds of my dog running. Halfway through our 2 hour hike, I had tightened and re-tightened each boot at least 6 times, and the elastic cord from one of the boots decided it had had enough and snapped. Needless to say that boot had to be tightened a lot more times than the rest after that. These boots would probably do well on dogs that will just be walking or trotting. The will not stay on a dog that runs full speed.

These boots must be made from some pretty shotty material
I have had these boots a little over a month. These boots must be made from some pretty shotty material. At first I was pleased with them, they kept the dogs legs dry, but within two weeks of average use they started to fall apart. My dog doesn't run in them so they were never exposed to over use or anything like that. In my opinion, they were designed poorly and the material is flawed. Where rubber stops, every boot started to fray and leave big holes. Now that there are holes in all of them, they easily get wet and are impossible to dry. At this point they have taken on a foul odor from being damp. Don't even consider drying them in a dryer because that just melts the thin water proof backing on the material (had to try last night as a last resort, they were just too wet due to the holes). The Velcro straps are not very effective either. The boots easily fall off no matter how tightly you secure the Velcro. Keep in mind that all of this is after only four weeks of normal use. $40 is a lot of money for a poorly made product that can only carry out its intended function for four weeks. I am already having to look for replacements. They didn't even last 1/2 a winter season. Garbage in my opinion, don't waste your money.

Very pleased with these boots
We live in Germany and my Giant Schnauzer loves the snow. With his longer fur, he easily gets ice built up between his pads, and I was concerned about the salt on his feet too. He requires long walks to wear him out, and he won't hesitate to plow face first into a snow bank. These are the first shoes/boots I've purchased and I couldn't be happier. They keep his legs covered and they're waterproof so we don't have to wipe him down when we get home from a walk. He jumps all over in the snow and his feet stay dry. My dog kicks his back feet to mark, so sometimes the boots slide down a little. But it's nothing to readjust and carry on. I will definitely order these again.
