Quilling For Beginners!: How To Get Started With Stylish Paper Quilling Techniques, Tips & Projects

Even though this was easy to read, there were NO picture examples of what to do, placement you will have to guess what the artist means. No pictures of the tools or examples or paper. The only reason I am not asking for a refund, is I am an experienced crafter and will be buying other books and had some of the tools on hand, to figure out which was for which. What few pictures there were, only one was helpful, even if it was super tiny. You might want to mention if you are a visual learner, this is for sure, NOT for you!

Worthless book. Just received it today. Returning it as soon as possible. No pictures to help. Have to refer to other parts of the book when wanting to make something. Like a leaf. Turn to such and such only do this. What's up with those type of instructions? Why must I flip through a book to get instructions without having to refer to another part of the book. I wish I had read the reviews before I wasted my money. Now I have to search for another beginner book. Oh, did I mention the book is small in size. Really difficult to understand. Would have given it zero stars if you could have. DO NOT waste your money!

I got this for a friend who is just starting out with quilling - thus why I bought this book. It isn't bad, but there aren't many pictures and the writing is a little drawn out. The book is also in black/white, which is fine. It is also really small, but that isn't an issue at all. I'd keep it and refer to it, but maybe look for an actual project book with pictures to get an easier idea of what you are doing if you are starting off.

I was so disappointed. Although the information is decent, the pictures, when provided are horrible. They are black and white and very small, making the details near impossible to see. Not the best for learning a new art form.

The only thing I liked the most was the time the package arrived...Arrived quickly but it's a waste of money...no pictures...only a few techniques mentioned (basic ones)...

This book is hard to follow and has very few illustrations or photos to help beginners follow the different steps of quilling. After reading it twice, I didn't feel confident enough to start my own project.

Not one illustration. I can not learn a new craft, from a book of words.Plenty of info, but it's just not enough.

I thought this would show patterns and how to instructions! Not very helpful for beginners!

No diagrams; just a few B&W photos. Small book of 61 pages and gives the appearance of having been produced on a budget. For a beginner this book would be difficult to follow/not very helpful.. Even free, I would not recommend.

useful book, disappointing for me, it gives lots of advice but would have like more photos on finished projects, im the type who need pictures along with instructions, but would recommend it for beginners.

It would have been nice to have diagrams to follow .Wish I had not purchased. Thinking of sending it back

I honestly thought that this book would show you how to do some of the techniques & possibly have a couple of easy projects to do but it is all wordy & will send you to sleep.

A simple book for the price. Personally I would be more inspired by simple drawings of shapes and more on photos. However I appreciate this would make it more costly.Useful to some beginners I am sure but was not quite the thing for me.
