I ordered two and programmed them both with the same code. I tried it a couple of times before actually placing the face back on the unit and locking it. One won't open now. I haven't locked the second one yet, but I can see what some of the numbers in my code aren't staying in when pushed, so the code doesn't register every time. I have to push it multiple times until it catches, but if the box were closed I wouldn't be able to see when it catches or not. Have used similar style lock boxes before, but don't like the quality of these.

Extremely disappointing product. The directions are not very clear, but after a few minutes I was able to figure it out (if someone is not one to tinker with projects, it would definitely prove difficult).However, my issue is that the key pad lock / unlock system is faulty. Out of the box the black key pad cover does NOT insert in the grey holder. I went to HomeDepot and had them look at it and the product came faulty for me. I contacted the seller and did NOT get a response for the faulty product.I don;t normally right negative reviews and these kinds of things happen, but after no response I'm left with a broken product.

Bought this to let contractors in a flip property so we would not have to meet them every time they needed in. Shipping was quick and easy to set up would definitely recommend this product looking for a good lock box.

This was the most maddening purchase I've made in a long time. First of all, minor detail: the programmable code isn't order-sensitive, so for example if you set it to 3412, then anyone who guessed those four numbers in any order (e.g. 1234) would be able to open the box. That's not a deal-breaker but definitely decreases the level of security it provides. More importantly, the mechanism is poorly made in several ways: (1) the button for opening it is awkwardly designed and not easy to use, (2) there's no hinge, so the entire face of the box just falls out when you open it, and (3) when you put the face back on to close and lock it, it's difficult to tell if it is seated exactly right, and apparently if it isn't, then it's possible for the box to lock itself and not reopen even with the correct code. We were heading out of town for our wedding and needed to leave a set of keys for a friend on our front door, and when we put the keys in the box and closed it, it wouldn't click all the way into place but wouldn't open back up either. We had to make alternate plans to get keys to our friend, and now we're stuck with a lockbox hanging off of our door, with our keys trapped inside, and no way to open it. Infuriating.

I had this on the railing of my city apartment in case I locked myself out. I came home one day to see it rusted open. The lock shaft that locks into the base had rusted and pulled out after a few weeks.

I bought two of these. One continues to work, but after just 4 months of use, one of them has stopped functioning properly (one of the numbers stopped working). A real pain considering I use these to let guests into my rental property.

It didn’t work and I was so busy to return it so I guess I’m stuck with it

P.O.S. I use lock boxes regularly. The code would not set on this. THANK GOODNESS I did not put a key in as I'd have never gotten it out.
