This is a fantastic book. I was looking for some literature to help my submissive in the trials and tribulations of her training, and embracing her new life as a slave. There's several books out there that go over some of the surface facets of the D/s relationships, but Kacie really focuses in to the real life nuts and bolts of the Total Power Exchange dynamic, from a first hand, nuanced, open and frank discussion of the lifestyle. Unlike many of the other resources available, Kacie delves into the emotional, and psychological characteristics, the effects they can have, and how to not just cope, but to grow and thrive in the environment. The book has been invaluable to my submissive and to myself, she often says how helpful it's been to her, and many times, as we're working our way through some challenge, a concept from the book will arise, and help guide us. I'm thankful to Kacie. As an aside: As wonderful as this book is, I would advise buying it somewhere other than Amazon. Amazon shipped it to me UPS, who shunted it to the USPS (Post office) for delivery. They promptly lied about a delivery attempt, and forced me to drive across town to the post office, and stand in line for 20 minutes, just to pick up my little book. :) Sheesh. There's a nice little book store, right across the street from me, I'm planning on going there for my next book purchase. Which, now that I think about it, might just be a good thing! :)

Muchly needed and appreciated!
I was struggling with aspects of my long(ish)-distance D/s relationship and in a panic about how to express myself. When I realized I had ordered this book the week before and picked it up, I knew immediately that it would be helpful and honestly it's surpassed my expectations. At one point Kacie says (paraphrased), "If I make even one reader say 'Yes! that's what I've been trying to say all along!', this book will have been successful." Well sweet Kacie, you can rest easy, because you have managed to articulate several concepts I did not have words for, especially: Active Dominance, and of course "Conquer Me". Using this book as my safety-net (I get flustered and forgetful in important talks) I could talk with my Master and reference it in order to help make my points. The conversation was respectful, meaningful, and resulted in changes to my relationship that (I believe) have made it more sustainable and satisfying to us both. This would not have been nearly as effective without this book. Appreciatively, she disclaims right up front that she is writing from a female-sub, male-Master perspective that may not transfer seamlessly to other gender configurations. (I am a queer woman, and my partner is a queer man, and yes, gender is relevant!)To put into context, I have never written an Amazon review before. I may never again. I recommend this book highly for anyone who has ever had any doubts or struggles with their submission, or anyone who would like to witness, beautifully told, another submissive's real-world love-letter.

Lovely insights into a foreign world
The author writes as the title suggests; like a girlfriend to an inquiring girlfriend. The topics are kept intellectual and decent. This is not a book for those looking into the kink of the matter, but rather for the ladies (and Doms) searching for genuine insights into a power dynamic that calls to us fortunate few. Five out of five for me!

Great little guide
I love this book, itβs a great little guide. I wouldβve given 5 stars but some editing is needing, there are typos here and there that are a little irritating when reading. If you can get over that, this is a fab book for any submissive/slave to read and anyone who is curious and yes even Dominants should give this a gander.

The best submissive book I've ever read
Such an amazing book. A good friend of mine (Dom) told me I should read it so I grabbed it and let me tell you...I've read it a few times now and at different points in my life I get different things out of it. It's the first and only book I advise both subs AND Dom's to read. I'm partially through this for the 4th time now. Whenever I need to get myself back in a good mindset? I pick it up. Truly I couldn't gush about it enough!

An Invaluable Look Into The Female Submissive
I loved this book SO much I was actually disappointed when I finished it. Kacie's writing is personal and easy to read and even more easy to relate to... and I'm a male switch. She is thorough and impartial without being repetitive or wishy-washy. It is simply a joy to read.If you are or know a female that isn't feeling comfortable with their submissive thoughts or fantasies, whether just a twinge of guilt or soul-crushing terror, buy them this book and beg them to read it. If you are or know a Dominant looking for or with a female submissive and you want insight into how they think and feel, especially if they sometimes feel like they have trouble communicating those things with you, buy them this book and beg them to read it.The only thing that could make it any better would be if it came in four volumes for each gender and role.Thank you, thank you, thank you, Kacie Cunnigham.

The absolute bible for D/s relationship....a masterpiece!
This is without a doubt the best book that I have ever read on the subject. It is full of great information, suggestions and first hand experience of a highly intelligent submissive. It is the first book that I would suggest to anyone ( Dominant or submissive) that is either in a D/s relationship or desiring to be in such a relationship. Very well written and engaging, you'll have a hard time putting it down once you start reading. I gave a copy to my new submissive and required her to read ,study and discuss it with me as part of her training. This is what her thoughts were after reading this book, " This book is more then just words on a page, it teaches you a way of life, a way of connecting deeply with your partner, a way of communicating with each other...a great way...of listening.... of responding effectively. This has become my new life manual. I love that my Teacher/Master cared enough to give it to me"

A wonderful insight.
Conquer Me came highly recommended. Reading this has been both a joy and a revelation. I found myself continually relating to situations and explanations, learning every step of the way how to grow in my choices. Very many thanks to this author who wrote with simple honesty. I know it will be a book I return to again and again.

A must get
An excellent book for Dom's and Submissives alike. As a Dom it answered a lot of questions for me within the first few chapters. I had to stop and think and then had the typical ah ha moment with the metaphorical slap to my own forehead realising "dammit I've been doing that bit wrong". The author has delved into the psychological complexity of the submissive but conveyed it succinctly and In a relatable way which is something I found that other books had trouble with largely because they were written by Dom's. Of all the books ive read on the subject this is by far the best. Very well done. Highly recommended.

Beautiful insight into the world of BDSM from the view ...
Beautiful insight into the world of BDSM from the view of a submissive. It's not scary or abusive, it's two people meeting each others needs. It's not as twisted as other more trendy books would have you believe. A must read for any submissive and highly recommended to dominants as well, as you will get a chance to read the inner thoughts of a submissive, clearly communicated in an easy to understand way.
