We have a tall and thin metal shelving unit in a corner of our kitchen. I really liked how it looked when I strung some lighted garland on it for the holidays, and I decided to get something to string on it year-round. These lights do a fantastic job. While some of the plastic balls came off while stringing them up, once they were all in place this was no longer an issue. They give off a nice, calming light that I really enjoy during the morning and night to add some soft lighting to our kitchen.

...but I think you can overcome with some liquid starch or water and dark brown tissue or crepe paper. Make little strips and wrap on a diagonal while watching your favorite Amozon Prime video! I think they are cool enough - sort of early-60's retro, maybe? - to deal with, and can understand why the strand looks like what it is in daylight; if for darkness, it's a 5-star!).

The lights themselves are nice and seem to be of a nice quality. However, the aesthetic quality is completely undermined by the actual plug. No, I am not kidding. The plug protrudes from the outlet by 5 inches! It's about 2" wide and almost 1" thick. It is too conspicuous and very clumsy. There was no way for me to put this at the entrance of my business without the plugs being an eyesore.The bulk comes from the control switch for the different light settings. I have used different special lights in my window where the 'setting box' is placed somewhere in the length of the light strand. Putting it right next to the plug created a bulky plug than is too heavy to stay in a standard outlet, shown in the 1st of the 3 pictures I posted with this review.The lights are a great idea, but they really need to go back to the drawing board with the plug design.

Kinda cheap-looking - looks like black electrical tape was wrapped around the cord. I also found this light strand to be much shorter than I needed, and it DOES NOT CONNECT to other light strands - which is a real bummer if you want to put lights around a doorframe or hang from a tree :/ I really like the vine-like design. Do not like the plug, which sticks out a good 6" from the wall. So odd!

Received promptly and well packaged, product is as advertised although the white plastic globes look a little cheap. Glass or resin globes would have been better. The plug has the transformer built in, so it sticks out about 4 " making it not ideal for a wall outlet configuration. Overall, I am happy with the product.

I was a little worried because we went shopping for lights like this at a few different brick-and-mortar locations and often the light's temperature didn't match the picture on the box it came in. These, however, look very much like the picture; they exceeded my expectations. I really love these lights.

Cute! I put these above my daughter's window. My only complaint is the plug is pretty big and sticks straight out. That was kind of annoying because it's hard to hide.

These are such great accent lights for the balcony! Work well. Easy to "string" around small "cup" hooks purchased at Lowe's and screwed in about every 18". Simply terrific!
