Review: wonderful shears - i bought these because my hands have started to shake so i needed an alternative to using a knife. this is an excellent alternative. they are easy to use. they are comfortable in your hand. they are easy to clean. it's easy to take them apart if necessary, to clean them and then put them back together. they are definitely rust resistant, just don't put them away wet. i keep mine in a drawer, they dry in no time so putting them away wet is not a problem (i don't have a dishwasher so they are handwashed) there's a hook on the bottom of one handle that keeps the shears closed so there's no worry about accidentally cutting yourself when picking them up. not only are they pretty, a side benefit, they work great. they cut through the skin, flesh, and bones of a chicken or any other poultry. i have also used them on lamb and pork. i've used them on some vegetables depending on how i wanted them cut. they're a great tool, a good companion to your favorite kitchen knives.

**Q: Rust free ?**
A: I have had mine for a few months and so far no signs of rust

**Q: Cutting bone misaligns blades.  Can hese blades be realigned like Henckles and Wustoff?**
A: I did not see anything indicating that they could realign themselves. I did use them to cut bone, and they did not become misaligned.

**Q: Are they able to cut rib?**
A: This is my third pair of heavy-duty shears.  I bought them specifically to spatchcock turkeys and cut through the rib cage.  These are the best so far.

But shears are really a simple physics problem.  The more force you apply to the handles, the more you can cut through.  These cut through turkey ribs (and of course chicken) just fine.  My last turkey was 30# and I zipped right through them.  If you are asking about pork or beef ribs there is no way.  You will need a meat saw.

These are well made but are large.  I have big hands so these were perfect for me.

**Q: Where are these scissors made?**
A: Not sure but they are very well made.

I ordered these scissors and few weeks ago and had my first opportunity to use them tonight. (See Video) Wow! I was impressed! It cuts through my chicken wings so easily separating the drumette, flat and tips. The tips were hard to remove before and now "snip" - its done. And just as easy separating the drumette from the flat. I would highly recommend these.
