Save your money and buy a full spectrum 50 watt bulb, this is only red and blue light, full spectrum includes infrared, Ultra violet and white light as well as red and blue. its the closest you'll get to replicating sunlight and its the same price as this. This is okay if you have large house plants that are starting to turn color. But If you have small plants that are dying (Venus fly trap that was shipped to me) and you're trying to revive in an "operating room" fashion then definitely buy a 50 watt full spectrum. This setup just doesn't give off enough energy in the form of useful plant light to be useful for emergency plant care. It is great for keeping color in your plants though, my desert rose has this on it because its large and healthy already and this light keeps it really green and keeps the leaves growing the direction I want them to grow. (Desert rose does get some natural light) being able to influence which direction the leaves grow is nice and a must for smaller plants.

The light has a metal goose-neck with the LEDs mounted in a plastic housing including a diffuser and cover. The clamp is made of metal , with rubber like grips and very strong holding strength. The feature I like the best is the small plug and dual power switches.*PRO*Fairly light-weight, Strong grip, Adjustable direction of light, Dual Color/Wave-Length,Low Power -Very Bright Output, The Color is good for a grow light (Trippy/3D), also power plug is small (like tracfone charger).*CON*Short Cord a little over 3ft (depends on your power plug location)Heads - Gets very Hot after 30Mins+, It becomes uncomfortable after 10 seconds to hold or adjust.This is my first LED grow light so time will tell how effective it is. I have used the light nearly 3 full days. I was initially concerned about the heads of the LEDs, being lightweight and feeling like colored plastic. I was afraid it would melt or warp, it has not so far and must be made of aluminum or some light-weight metal. I was surprised it had molded diffusers and rather big dome shape LEDs. I have not seen these in any lights I have bought. I just replaced all regular lighting with LEDs in my mothers home and they are flat/SMD based. I hope that it really helps my Anthurium, its has been pitiful for months (Wally World Clearance). I will update or revise if needed to assess the full benefit and helpfulness of item.

Just what my sad plant needed. I'm the type that ends up killing all the house plants I receive. I'm not sure how I'm so good at it, but I wanted to end my streak and this Grow Light has helped me accomplish that goal. I have a plant (not sure the type) in the restroom. It got these big green leaves, but lately it started to droop and the leaves were turning yellow. Before I gave up I decided to try this Grow Light. In 24 hours the plant perked right up and the leaves are back to green. I keep the Grow Light on the plant for about 5 hours a day. The light it produces it a very intense purple. You could use this light as a party light, or decoration for Halloween (something I may do this year).The build quality of the Grow Lamp is average, I bet it could take a light fall off a counter top, but no more. Since it's stationary, I'm not concerned about the build quality. For the price and what it does I do recommend it.

Great plant light! Exactly as shown; two switches for each light, red and blue lights. Wish the necks were a bit longer, but this works!
